What a Great Hat! — Local services in Fairlawn

I purchased my first hat about 6 years ago and now I own eight! I get compliments every time I wear one. Some were custom made and others were ones that Paula already had created. I don't have a favorite but the one that is most special to me is one Paula designed and made out of wool that my mother purchased in Scotland in1959 and my grandmother had made into a suit for her. The skirt didn't fit anyone anymore (waists were tiny back then! LOL) and it made a beautiful winter hat. I've purchased hats from her studio and also from several different art shows. Not only are Paula’s individually designed, handmade hats beautiful, Paula herself is a consummate professional. She has an attention to detail both in the creation of her hats and the fitting to the individual. I used to say I could not wear hats, because they didn’t fit right or look good on me. Paula changed all that by custom fitting a hat for my head size and face shape. I now have several of her creations and can even call myself “a hat person”.
