We were just there this afternoon for some fun play (our son's first time). When we first walked in the door and the lady looked at us and told us we came in the wrong door but rather than just go ahead and open the gate she made us walk back out and walk around to the correct gate (there was literally no one else here at the time), then we walked in and we just kind of stood there as we've never been before and we weren't really sure what to do or where to go so finally I asked her and mentioned we had never been here before. Then, she proceeded to ask us if we were going to eat and I said yes and that we also have military discount. She told me there were two packages for that one of them was 28.99 and one of them was 40 something. She could not tell me what they included because she said she would have to ring them up before she could tell me. I asked her with the cheaper package included and she told me a large pizza in for drinks it also included either 45 plays or 45 minutes. We asked her what the difference was because we didn't understand and she could not explain it to us until about three minutes later when she finally explained it while shaking her head. We told her we wanted the 45 minutes and then she swiped our card and just walked away. I turned around and she started letting other people in while we just stood there like idiots because we didn't know what to do next. Finally she came back over and asked what we want on our pizza and handed us our receipt. We got ssettledand set our stuff at the table and started to play, then chuckie came out and our son (2.5 years old) was so excited and she just kept walking and didn't acknowledge him. She did her "dance" (same girl that checked us in) and walked away immediately after. I had to ask her to stop so our son could see him and get a picture of him and there was so much attitude in her body language. Her name was Shaunte and she should NOT be working some where, where there are children because it was very clear she hates her job. Very rude and NO customer...
Read moreThe music was loud you couldn’t even talk to someone sitting right next to you!! The pizza was cold when served. There wasn’t any one watching the salad bar. The hostess we had did a decent job. When the mouse came out to sing Happy Birthday (the door opened the song came on had no chance to get child ready) to side by side party the Happy Birthday song already started playing before the hostess had half the candle's lit so the only video (which had to deleted) was of her reaching across the child so you couldn’t even see them blow out what candles were lit. No video of them blowing out candles and no Happy Birthday song. Very disappointed with that considering it was a one time only memory. The mouse walked around and gave hugs but was not fun or entertaining at all isn’t that the whole point of seeing him? I bought two of the plastic cups $10 but didn’t want the soda in cups because I was taking them home. I asked for a paper cup to put the soda in (which I paid for) and she refused wanted to charge me full price of another drink just for a paper cup. So I paid for soda I couldn’t have. I will never spend that much money to go there again. I would never recommend any one I know to go there. We had 45 in our party. It’s supposed to be a fun happy experience but the people working there had the personality of sadness and depressing attitudes. If you asked a question or needed something they acted like it was a pain in the butt. Very very...
Read moreWe had a great time at this Chuck E Cheese for my daughter's 5th birthday. They accommodated our whole group easily, and provided plenty of entertainment to keep all the kids (about twelve in our party) occupied for the full two hours. To be honest, two hours is a little tight if you're trying to do food, cake, singing, and presents, while also allowing your party goers to play the games, but it worked out fine in our case. Our hostess, April, was very pleasant and helpful. This is a great option if the alternative is trying to cram a ton of crazy kids into your house for a party.
Update: just read the other reviews. We did everything online, from booking the original reservation to updating it for RSVPs to getting food for the adults. Hence, we had no waiting in lines, everything was brought out. Chuck E made one major appearance in the middle of the party (we were there from 10-12, so he showed up at 11), and was wandering around a bit otherwise. The food wasn't too bad, no worse than pizza from any other place, maybe a bit more expensive. Veggie platter had all fresh food, sampler platter was kinda dull (wings, fries, cheesy bread).
Overall, I'd...
