Planning a wedding is an emotional journey on its own, but when my fiancée, Remi, lost her mother just before our big day, it became something entirely different. Maggie’s Bridal & Prom didn’t just provide us with wedding attire—they offered us an experience filled with compassion, warmth, and a sense of family that we’ll never forget.
Olivia was more than just a consultant; she was a friend who listened, cared, and went out of her way to make Remi feel truly seen and understood. Remi's mother had always dreamt of being by her side during these special moments, and in her absence, Olivia became the comforting presence we didn't know we needed. She infused every step of the dress selection with personal touches that honored her memory, making it clear that she cared as much about Remi’s emotional well-being as she did about finding the perfect dress. Olivia’s kindness, empathy, and genuine dedication turned what could have been a difficult experience into one filled with love and joy.
And then there was Ben, who connected with my brother-in-law, Summit, in such a beautiful way. Ben took the time to make sure Summit felt included and supported throughout the entire process of choosing suits and coordinating colors. It was as if he understood that this wasn’t just about fabric and fit; it was about family, about unity, and about creating something that would live on in our hearts long after the wedding day was over.
Maggie’s Bridal & Prom isn’t just a place to find wedding attire—it’s a place where memories are crafted with love, and where everyone involved is treated like family. Olivia and Ben brought light into a time that felt uncertain, and for that, we are forever grateful. If you’re looking for more than just a dress or a suit, but a truly meaningful experience, this is the place...
Read moreIMPORTANT UPDATE: I wanted to amend this review. The owner of Maggie's, a wonderful lady named Olivia, reached out to me and we had a long conversation about not only my experience but the state of the formal wear industry as a whole and the challenges it presents for anyone outside of "traditional sizing" (my term, not hers.) She not only acknowledged my experience, but took it seriously, didn't try to explain anything away or convince me that the problem was me or my body, and made everything right. Signage re the five star reviews for product were also clarified as only valid for those who purchased (and the signs were removed!)
I have so rarely left a negative review in my life, and on the few occasions that I have, the business has never, ever cared to respond and attempt to rectify the situation. Olivia did so in such a wonderful way - that I'll be going to her for at the very least a bridal trial on eventually, if that gives you any indication of how deftly she turned the bad situation into a good one with a genuine apology and change. Bravo, Maggie's, you've earned those other stars.
INITIAL REVIEW LEFT UP AND EDITED TO COMPLY WITH GOOGLE'S POLICIES
Totally abysmal experience trying on dresses. Many were damaged, and the sales associate who was "helping" me said, basically, oh well, they get damaged and they're from last prom. Noticeably, few (only one I could find,) were discounted among the damaged ones. Going in here as an adult, size 16 looking for a dress for an event was frankly just sad. My dressing room also didn't have a three way mirror, instead opting for a cheap hand mirror with which to see the back of the dresses.
Don't let the five star reviews fool you, signage in the store offers a free bracelet or earrings in exchange for a five...
Read moreI’ll be honest, initially we were excited to shop here, however, it’s very clear that you cater to girls who are thin, and left my daughter to have an unpleasant experience all around. My daughter is a size 18. On your rack, there were 6 dresses to choose from. Six! It was embarrassing honestly to try to pep up my daughter about trying on only 6 dresses in her size. She even tried on dresses in smaller sizes thinking maybe we could have it altered to work somehow. However, if you are a size 6, There are at least two entire rows of dresses… which is appalling and frankly sad. My daughter was given no excitement, or opinions from the staff members, Who were all around us helping out other girls interacting with them smiling and having fun. My daughter was left feeling the experience for senior homecoming shopping very unexciting and sad. We wound up finding a dress on the sale rack, which Is being altered to work for her. The only reason she picked it is because we were really out of options at that point. On all of the sale racks, there were 2 dresses in her size. We asked the girl where the dresses on the sale rack were that were in her size… And she just said they’re mixed in and you just have to look. You really should consider catering to girls of all sizes and Not just those under a size 6. Frankly, I would not recommend the store to any young woman who might be a little curer than your average girl, but still wants to feel beautiful just like...
