I am pleased with my service from Custom Sounds. My audio expert, specifically, was awesome. I don’t know if “audio expert” is the proper title or term, but that’s how knowledgeable and precise Chris Mace was with the services rendered. An expert. I had a sound system upgrade to my Jeep Wrangler. It was speakers and a radio face with apple car play, xm radio, and a backup camera capability. The process was quick, clean, crisp, and affordable! I love my results and new sound quality. I would recommend and I plan to return in the future for more upgrades.

Patient, helpful, flexible, knowledgeable. Did I mention patient? That’s a big deal for me because I wasn’t sure what to ask for. I just knew I needed an upgrade. I had been to another shop to ask around and it’s kind of intimidating talking to experts about something you know nothing about. My audio expert saw that I was a little overwhelmed and worked with me.

Chris answered all of my questions about the equipment, installation process, pricing, and their availability.

Everything was installed quickly, efficiently, and beautifully. My new radio adds to the interior presentation of my Jeep. It is very apparent that it was installed professionally. It is definitely not a botch job.

Quick service? Absolutely. I spoke with Chris on Saturday when I scheduled my appointment for Monday. I dropped my Jeep off on Sunday night (couldn’t drop it off on Monday morning due to work) where they safely secured it on location overnight. Chris called me on Monday morning to confirm the services and the service was completed by that Monday evening.

What did I have installed? Speakers and radio face with apple car play, xm radio, and a backup camera capability to set up later, if I choose to. Chris was knowledgable and answered all my questions and concerns. Chris was well versed in the equipment and services Custom Sounds provided. I could tell that he wasn’t just loading extra, unnecessary, and costly items to increase the ticket. Every piece of equipment or service added had a purpose and each one was explained to me. He took his time to listen and understand my ideas for how I wanted my system to work. Then he let me know better or less complicated options that would achieve the same results.

I feel that my package was affordable, specifically because they worked with me to create a package I could pay outright. However, Custom Sounds does offer financing options.

My audio expert also went above and beyond to correct another minor issue with my Jeep and I am so appreciative.

Sometimes, you can leave a business with what you wanted but still feel cheated. I DID NOT have that experience at Custom Sounds. I left feeling happy, accomplished, and satisfied with my decision to upgrade my Jeep. I will be returning to Custom Sounds in the future to have more upgrade to my baby. Went to get a stereo for an older truck around 2:30 today. Adam seemed to be the only one working. He was working very hard to answer the phone and help customers so we waited patiently. When it was our turn we asked where his help was and he said everyone had went to lunch at Hooter's. He was very professional and answered all of our questions. He suggested we come back around 4:00, we agreed. Got back around 3:45 and waited there assuming it would be a few hrs. Other customers were also waiting. At 6:45 they were finally done. Of course they close at 7:00. So we are driving home and I notice there are 2 lights on, 1 the abs and the other the parking brake. These lights were not on when we took the truck in. So we tried calling when we get home, no answer. Going to call them when they open today to try and figure out what they did to make these lights come on. You definitely dropped the ball on this one. They also told us when we were paying our bill that one of the speakers wasn't working. Seems like they should have mentioned it while working on the truck not while we were paying the bill. Guess they didn't want to sell any speakers today and install them and just wanted to go home. But the radio is nice. And good service from Adam. ...

Literally horrible service. Rude and unprofessional establishment. Mike and Mitchell were the two apparently incompetent associates we dealt with. My husband dropped my car off on a Friday morning at 10am to get automatic start put in. Custom sounds contacted us around 6pm that night and told us that they had apparently installed the auto start and it was not compatible with my car so they wanted to keep it over night and start on it "first thing in the morning" with parts that they knew would work for my car. At about 11 the next morning my husband called to check on the car and he was given no real update and they said that they would call him back. We never received a call so he called them back around 12:30 and they said the car had not even been started yet. My husband expressed his frustration and said he would be there to pick up the vehicle and that we do not want their service anymore. The worker's response was "I was actually going to give you that option." Never did they offer any type of explanation OR most importantly any type of apology.
