Scarborough Fair — Local services in Falcon Heights

I live in a part of the country where there aren't very many stores that sell quality, high end clothing so when I need to look my best, I turn to some of my favorite online shops. Kat at Scarborough Fair provided me with one of the best shopping experiences I had since I bought my wedding dress. I am so impressed! I was captivated by a very unusual blouse by Filippo Grandulli ("crushed white blouse"). It has an asymmetrical hem, and a dramatic collar that buttons at an angle. I had questions on how it would fit so I sent an email to the shop, and Kat responded ASAP, first with an email, then a text, and then actually called me because I had more questions. Not only was I on the line with Kat (who was not physically in the store at the time), but also her assistant who was actively measuring the blouse to provide me with the info I needed. LOL, is that amazing or WHAT?!? Kat also gave very good advice on how to style the blouse and after the blouse was delivered, she followed up via email to make sure I was pleased! I am speechless about the service. Speechless. I didn't feel like I was buying FROM them, I really felt like I was shopping WITH them. That blouse, plus a Magnolia Pearl number that I ordered at the same time, were delivered promptly. They were carefully wrapped in beautiful tissue with a little fabric flower as a finishing touch. This St. Paul, MN women’s boutique shop offers a unique collection of vintage and designer clothes that is unlike anything else in the Twin Cities. This beautiful shop offers several one-of-a kind hats and clothing items. Her selection of shawls, scarfs (the fabrics sumptuous and richly colored), beaded fringe jackets, leggings, and shoes is simple exquisite.

Katheryn Menaged, the owner, has a strong sense of style and offers a true opinion when asked how she assesses an item’s fit on a shopper. I took a guest with me this week and we both felt that she genuinely listens to what we are looking for and wants us to be comfortable in the long with our purchases.

Clothing items range from wonderful pieces for everyday to just-what-I-need for a special occasion. I was quite surprised in the midst of many richly feminine pieces to discover one of my favorite business suits ever. I am not model size, so to find a special shop like this that includes larger sizes is absolutely wonderful.

After months of window shopping during evening strolls with a friend, I became an avid fan after my first visit inside years ago. You’ll want to catch her annual Hats, Horses & High Tea spring event. Millinery from Karen Morris and The Cha-Cha's House of Ill Repute are the strongest draw for me.

I saw some of the beautiful clothing Scarborough Fair offers at an informal modeling show. I decided to scheduled a private appointment to visit the shop because I was desperate and short on time to find a lovely dress to wear to a very formal wedding and was hoping to also wear it again for an important fundraiser. This beautiful shop is like walking into an adult size fairy garden. Everything is exquisite; clothing, jewelry and home décor.

Kat, the owner made me feel like a princess with the personal help and her great advice on just the right dress for me. I felt like she really wanted me to feel pretty and comfortable in the dress I chose.

The selection of clothing and accessories in the shop is phenomenal. Not just the "special dresses" but wonderful pieces for everyday.
