We have been working with Ed Terry since 2019 purchasing appliances in two homes. Ed has always been so pleasant and helpful with ordering my appliances, answering questions and following up on the status of my items. I was especially appreciative that Crane agreed to store my kitchen appliances until my project was ready for them this time around. Thank you Ed! We really appreciate your excellent customer service! The delivery process is very efficient - I received a text on the morning of delivery that had a link to a little status map that shows where the truck is and the estimated times for arrival. I just loved watching the updates as the morning progressed. The gentlemen that delivered my appliances were very skilled, amazingly strong and friendly. They unboxed all my items and took the pallet and boxes away. Following the delivery, I received an email of all the items that were delivered with photographs. This was great for reconciling all the appliances and parts to my order sheet. One of the gentlemen (Pedro?) has delivered to my house a few times over the last year and he’s consistently professional and efficient. Thank you Crane Appliance!

The whole process was perfect! We found the washer and dryer combo that we liked on line. We talked to Crane Appliances and they said they could beat the price we saw it for at an off Cape dealer. (We like to try to buy local if we can). I had to wait for a couple week for factory to fill order. When it was ready for delivery I was notified by text and a delivery day was set.On day of delivery I was given a window of when the truck would arrive. Also had a tracker letting me know exactly where Pedro was so I didn’t have to just sit and wait and wonder. I got my old machine out of the way and Pedro and his assistant brought the new machines in and stacked them for me. I couldn’t be happier about the pain free process and professional delivery service. I’ve been installing washers and dryers as a plumber for forty years and have dealt with lots of companies and I must say Crane Appliances has it down to a science. I couldn’t be more satisfied! Thank you Crane team you are fantastic!

Dear Crane Appliance, I'd like to recommend David Frazier for his terrific service while we visited the Falmouth store on 11/3/23, to find a replacement microwave oven. The oven had to fit into an installation setting, over an existing oven. We found a floor model that would work, but it was all black, when the color scheme of a stainless model would suit the setting better. I was willing to live with the black one, but Dave asked us to hold off, while he looked for something he thought might be a better choice. Soon he found a stainless model of the same dimensions and features that indeed, did look better. Oh, and it costs thirty bucks less, is that OK? At home, it fit the setting perfectly, it works great and Dave's thoughtful perseverance in going a step further to make things better is very much appreciated. Regards, Will S.

Matt Getzie was very helpful in selling me a new built-in dishwasher when mine suddenly broke. My questions were quickly and accurately answered and when I asked about the possibilities of purchasing an "open box" or "customer returned" model to gain a savings, he coached me on how to shop for their "clearance" items on their website, where I found a suitable dishwasher more or less "in" my budget. He advised me to be careful buying the cheapest model at Home Depot (which is like the one that I was replacing, and which, admittedly, managed to last 10 years), because the new "cheaper" models weren't lasting that long these days (the Crane Appliance's own service department gives the sales people accurate feedback on what models are showing less reliability). Matt also informed me of a separate business that Crane engages to do pickup/delivery/installation as opposed to the company's delivery only charge (which would leave me to find an installer on my own - wasn't in the mood!), and he told me of their cost, which seemed more than fair. I am satisfied with my experience and especially Matt's suggestion that I make a list of more than one dishwasher found on the clearance portion of their website, as items can linger on the site even after they have been purchased , so in the interest of efficiency, he could look up models I was interested in and we could eliminate those that were either inappropriate (available, but only at the Vineyard Haven Store - a no go, or ADA compliant models, only to be installed at lower height countertops - another no go, both of which were on my list). I meant to add it was a real pleasure ordering an appliance and dealing with a human being (Donna) that was able polite and able to verify that yes, they had it in stock & it could be delivered in just a few days. No call backs, no I'll let you know as soon as I contact Maersk Shipping Line. I ordered the same appliance from both Lowes & Home Depot. Neither stores was able to accurately provide a delivery date. Both said 12 February but past experience has shown me those dates end up being slipping. It's not my intention to denigrate those stores as they're experiencing inventory problems. The problem is finding someone within those large companies that can accurately say where the merchandise is located. My dishwasher has been broken almost 2 weeks. I waited a week for the warranty company to decide it wasn't economical to repair and a week to show the order was received. I'm getting dish pan hands, so even though it's slightly more expensive from Crane's, it's worth it.

Last update: Friday was the big day. And guess what, the delivery crew arrived right on time. The unpacked dish washer was brought inside, the old one & all shipping card board removed. I was happy because the last one I purchase a few years back was delivered in a box. After signing (and of course after the delivery men left), I discovered it had been crushed in transit. Talk about letting the air out of your balloon, I was in a panic. Fortunately, the store manage made it right. So I was happy this time when they delivered it inside (without the box). My family recently experienced failure of our 4.5 year-old Bosch refrigerator. Crane Appliance promptly responded to our request for assistance with repair of the appliance. Their technician, Gui, was thorough, professional and honest with his assessment of the problem. He suggested repair would be as expensive, if not more expensive, than replacement of the appliance. Based on Gui’s assessment, I contacted the manufacturer to express my disappointment in failure of this expensive refrigerator after such a short time. Acknowledging my frustration, the customer service representative at Bosch advised me to our follow the manufacturer’s grievance procedure to request assistance with repair or replacement of the appliance. After attempting repairs without success, the manufacturer agreed to refund our original purchase price for the appliance and we were able to purchase a new refrigerator directly from Crane.

Though the outcome was more than satisfactory, the manufacturer’s grievance process was lengthy and somewhat tiresome. The ongoing support we received from Sandy in Crane’s purchasing department contributed greatly to this very positive outcome.

I have nothing but high praise for the service staff, Gui, Josh and Joe; the sales representative in the Orleans showroom, Robert; and especially for Sandy in the purchasing department. Thank you all for...
