Ran into michael’s Monday, bought one item (a huge $8 bucket that was on sale), then ran into Walmart to grab a thing of kitty litter since the stores were directly next to each other. I grabbed the box of litter, checked out at self checkout, then when going to leave I got stopped to get my receipt checked. She pointed the bucket i had, and I let her know it was from Michael’s. She asked for a receipt and I told her I didn’t have one because I had opted out from one, as I wasn’t planning on retuning the bucket. She then asked me to “prove” it was from michale’s so I showed her the barcode on the bottom. She scanned it maybe 5 times in a row without anything coming up on her screen, and you’d think because the barcode isn’t showing up, you’d know it’s from a different store, but she continued to ask for proof and when I told her I didn’t have any she asked if I paid cash or card before making me show her a bank statement to get her to let me leave. All while this was happening several families with cart fulls walked out of the store without getting their receipt checked while I had one single item. You would think the first 5 times she scanned it and nothing came up, you’d realize it wasn’t coming up because it wasn’t from walmart… Also why would I pay for the cat litter but try to steal a giant bucked? Insane to have me show my bank statements in...
Read moreI would not even give them 1 star but it was the only way to leave a review. Yesterday my son who is a service member was on the hunt for a Gabby Doll house for his daughter after he physically went to several Walmarts and targets in the area where he lives he checked with teaticket Walmart online to find they had 3 in stock. He ordered it online around noon and they said his order would be ready at 3:53. He arrives after driving over an hr waiting at his curbside spot and waits until 5:31 when he gets a text saying his order has been delayed. He goes into the store and stands in line for 45 minutes to find out what’s the hold up. The customer service associate says they didn’t get to pick his order yet and it appears they sold out before an associate can get to it. This is disgusting customer service. They wasted his time and money to travel there. He ended up traveling to Connecticut to purchase one for his daughter’s Christmas birthday. Today I tried calling the store to speak to a manager and I cannot even get a person to answer the phone. If Walmart is doing this to their customers hopefully they will make it right. Gas, time and travel definitely is not...
Read moreIn a world where retail associates are known for taking home company property. It amazes me that a pair of customers could not only wait for service at a locked counter for over twenty minutes. But to have to seek out employees, none of which equipped with a walkie talkie, to find out that the employee covering the department left for the day with the key amazes me. How is there only one key for the locked case in sporting goods? Why is there no in store communication besides walking to a page counter? How does AP or management not keep a copy? Why in the peak transition of the season is the sporting department so understaffed that an employee is able to walk away with the key. Why is the only contingency for this to kindly ask me to come back another day. I will not be revisiting this location and I advise that management take a good look at efficiency in communications and high impact department staffing. Walmart may not have lost a customer today, but the Falmouth location just lost a full year resident for life. I will gladly take my...
