All I can say is "it's about time!". I love Aisan food and particularly Chinese...this is the best I have had in 50 years. I've chased good Chinese all over the Cape (and many parts beyond) and this is the real deal. The old Hong Kong is the new best in town hands down. The access can be tricky the first time or two and the parking a bit cumbersome until you master the layout, but well worth it. Let's start with the people who run the place: absolutely delightful! From the greeter at the door to the person who checks you out (including the Chefs who makes appearances now and again). The atmosphere is definitely not your parents. Well lit, pleasantly open and spotlessly clean, it doesn't get more inviting. The best part (in my humble opinion) is the food. The Chinese is my favorite but please don't stop there. The choices are many and all worth a try. I now love Asian food that I didn't heretofore knew existed. I actually READ the menu and find new and tasty treats every visit. This place is the cat's a--, well you know. Thank...
Read moreI always get take out here. This place was made for people like me. On nights when I’m on my own for dinner and don’t want to cook, for less than $30 I can get the BEST fried rice I’ve ever had, some high quality tuna sashimi and tofu nigiri. I text them my order and it’s ready in 10-15 mins. Although I only pick up my order the staff has always been friendly and kind. I take my food home and play video games watch Netflix alone, but the fact that I’m eating amazing rice and high quality sashimi makes me feel less bad about it lol. You can’t beat the price, the quality, the fact that you can order over text and then pick up in 10 minutes. It’s by far the best Asian food I’ve had on the Cape. When I moved here from Dorchester I wondered if I’d ever find good Asian food again. When I found Sweet Rice I was wholly amazed. I’ve never eaten there but the atmosphere seems cozy so I’d be very inclined to do so. I look forward to when I get to order from here. I...
Read moreAaah Sweet Rice, mmmmm mmmmm good! Had the Kae Hainge. I've never had it before but very good, sauce especially. Enough to split the appetizer with another. Also had the Green Curry Soup with Chicken. It was a little too sweet for me, although delicious in every other way. Chicken was not overcooked like most soups. When i was asked by the lovely waitress, she let the kitchen know and they took it back and added more chicken stock to balance the flavors. Much better. Very accommodating place, clean, efficient and friendly. They said they will be adding Sushi 🍣🍣 soon which I can't wait for. I'm hooked. Best asian restaurant in town. I look forward to trying their more traditional classics next, like fried rice, peking dumplings,...
