I didn't want to give any stars, but it prompted me to do so in order to send my message.THIS IS NOT A 3.5 STAR HOTEL or INN, IT'S MORE LIKE A (-)5 STAR MOTEL!!!š”NO STARS!!!!š± THE WORSE... THE PITS... HORRIBLE...and if I could say more... I would. I give it a negative 5 Stars and some. In all my 57 year's this was the worse place I have ever stayed at. The rooms smell like a dead body or a dead rat is decaying inside the rooms and the hotel itself!!!!!š”. This was in every room because I came with a group of 50 friends and they all had the same complaint. I sprayed Febreeze and Lysol spray in my room, and still the smell persisted, and in fact it worsened. The carpet throughout the place is filthy... the carpets smelled and looked foul- like they have never been cleaned. The hotel itself is very old... It looks like you're in the 70's... old wallpaper, old curtains/drapes... whatever you want to call them, old appliances, televisions with the old large backs... no flat screen... etc. The microwaves had the old dial on them... instead of like the newer models, where you can just put in the exact time to warm up your food, etc. Also, the linen was soiled, and instead of white sheets, the sheets were yellow and stained throughout. Some of my fellow travelers went to the local Walmart to purchase their own linen, blankets, bath towels, and pillows due to the poor condition of the linen that the hotel provided. I finally went to management to have my concerns addressed and management-Miguel... gave me a VERY, VERY, VERY hard time!!!š”š”š”He made every excuse not to change my room. He told me because "I was with a group of seniors," he could only give me a room on the lower level. Miguel also stated...seniors aren't mobile, so they prefer that they put seniors on a lower level of the hotel. Mine you...I'm 57 and a fully mobile individual who works out 3-5 days a week. If I were a senior citizen/older adult, I have the right to have my concerns addressed and not to feel like my concerns didn't matter. At this point, I began to feel like I was being discriminated against because I was what Miguel called "a senior citizen." Also, from the looks of the hotel, I got the impression the hotel had not been fully functional for over 20 years, and management opened the hotel up just for our group!š” Also, I found out there is another part of the hotel, which was open and recently renovated... but it was not part of the main hotel. I got the impression that, that part of the hotel was only being used exclusively for their non-persons of color customers and any person of color, were only being booked for the main part of the hotel- which was run-down, nonoperable and in horrible condition. The bathroom sink- everytime I turned the water on, brown water came out of the faucet!! š¤®š¤¢š¤® The bathroom tubs/shower was filthy and appeared to look like it had not been cleaned. Also, there was an indoor and outdoor pool and both pools - the water was murky and the inside of the pools there were paint chips floating inside of the water. Also, the electricity is not updated. I tried to plug in my cellphone charger, and the outlet sparkedš¤Æ. Also my hotel door room would not lock. I had to secure myself from the inside of my hotel room by bracing a chair up against the door from the inside. This place needs to be condemned and replaced with a more up-to-date hotel, with staff that can adequately provide service to people from diverse backgrounds. Bottomline, this is not a Hotel... its more like a Motel or possibly a homeless shelter!!!! Also, L&I needs to definitely do an inspector of this property, and the Better Business Bureau needs to know how the customers of this establishment are being treated poorly. This hotel was my worst nightmare!!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR... DO NOT STAY...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis motel was a difficult one to review because there was a lot to like but with a little effort they could be 3 stars. Basically, it is a somewhat dated motel which called Inn and Suites but whose rooms almost but not quite qualify as a suite.
Good: Large room with lots of storage - two closets, luggage rack, table and chair, reading chair, two queen size beds, side table with drawer, TV cabinet with more storage, M/W, small refrigerator and coffee maker, hair dryer, ironing board and iron, and customary shampoo, conditioner and lotion.
Pool and free "continental" breakfast, which included hard boiled eggs, bananas, make your own waffles, instant oatmeal and 3 choices of cold cereal, milk, juice, one brand of tea,. coffees and run of the mill pastries and bread and toaster. All told, it was a good breakfast at this price point. The staff was quick to replace waffle batter when it was finished. I may have missed something. But it is much better than muffins and coffee which often is what I find called continental breakfast
OK but could be better: There was only one outlet near the bed, occupied with a cord to the bed lamps and an alarm clock. I use a CPAP and need at least one outlet, which was easy to get by unplugging the alarm clock (does anyone with a smartphone ever use an alarm clock any more)
But it meant I could not charge my phone by my bed, although there were other available outlets on the opposite wall, so not a big deal. And I always travel with my Anker backup charger for such situations.
Wifi was good in the evening but erratic in the morning. My best guess is that they didn't have enough bandwidth for the demand. If so, then when the motel is fully occupied, the wifi would be very frustrating and difficult as other reviews have noted. I was there midweek before the tourist season really started so erratic connectivity in the morning was a bad sign.
Bad: As in I would have changed my room if I had been staying more than one night: Very loud buzzing refrigerator - louder than my full size refrigerator at home and much louder than my mini-refrigerator. Very bright cool white fluorescent light in kitchen area
Note: half the units are up one flight of stairs. However, the Inn guaranteed me a ground floor unit. The staff clearly tried to accommodate customer requests.
Easy improvements: The switch by the entrance didn't turn lights on so I had to fumble in the dark, luckily with a phone with a flashlight app. The four lamps switched on by hand but were very low light. In addition, there was a very bright fluorescent fixture over the kitchen area that was cool white. Recommendation:
All in all, it was a very good value for the money, especially since I booked through Air bnb which reduced the standard $99 price to $69. Memorial Day that room is listed for $463 for 3 nights, which is still good...

Be careful, potential guests, with the sanitation practices of this place. I didn't share everything in the first post because it's not about tearing the facility down. I just wanted to hear back from the manager. It has good potential, but I guess customer service is not a priority.
First Post:
A stay at this place was gifted to me as a birthday gift. From the time that I walked in the main lobby, I didn't have the best feeling. The lady who was covering the evening shift came to the desk with a "stale" greeting. Everything I asked her resulted in a cold-natured reply (mind you--this gift was not cheap). When I approached the outside door that leads to the rooms, I immediately noticed the door handle broken: red flag #1 . . . the next concern was the difficulty getting in (I had to call the desk and the cold-natured employee approached me with the same demeanor and delivered the instructions with an "I'll teach you" demeanor: red flag #2. Under the ice machine was a dirty towel that was collecting dripping water: red flag #3. The stairs that led to my room were dirty and the couch in the room had stains (red flag #s 4 & 5). While resting a tornado warning flashed on my phone, instructing individuals to consider taking shelter in the basement, I called the desk and the employee said "I don't know anything about that" Mind you, at this point, the TV service was out as a result of the heavy winds.
Later on, I called back to inquire about the tornado watch and found out that there is no protocol in place for hotel guests in the event of inclement weather. The phone alert advised us to go to a safe place, and the employee could not identify where that place is. Admiralty Inn and Suites, this is NOT good!
After the last call, having reached out to the evening and overnight shift, a massive alarm went off in the building, people were coming out of their rooms, and we received no direction where to go or what to do. I am curious how management is going to reach out to each guest to render a hospitable and respectable explanation and...
