I was referred to Sanford Surgery on Broadway from the Sanford Edith Breast Cancer Center for a surgical biopsy. The surgeon advised me to follow up in 6 months. He did say he would do it but didn’t feel it was necessary! He made me feel like I was wasting his time. I am now getting the required care somewhere else. It was a waste of precious time and money. I did not know this particular surgeon was God. My last mistake at Sanford Broadway. Would not recommend!
**12/31/24 Update - After being diagnosed with invasive breast cancer, surgery, radiation and now adjuvant treatment. I want everyone to know that it’s crucial to get a 2nd opinion. Had I waited 6 months as the Sanford Broadway surgeon suggested (GK), my story would be much different today! PLEASE, PLEASE get a 2nd opinion! (3rd opinion if you still don’t feel comfortable). It’s your right, your choice, your life! I pray that telling my story will help and save others, no matter what cancer or health concerns they are facing.
As far as reaching out to Sanford Patient Care - lol That was attempted before the first review. Patient Care - Phillip - does not speak English well, hard to understand and be understood. Requested another Patient Care person - denied!? When I contacted Phillip again, all I wanted was another surgeon to do the biopsy(without having to make another 4 hour trip for a consult that lasted 5 minutes after GK read my chart and decided I was low risk! Nope, Phillip wouldn’t do it as GK listed in his notes that I agreed to wait 6 months??! Which was incorrect. GK worded his notes to cover his own a_ _. So I thankfully sought care elsewhere, which probably saved my life! So again, please take my advice and seek health care somewhere else! Your life...
Read moreThe People at the Clinic and Hospital are ABSOLUTELY Wonderful. On 3rd Floor. Ashley the Traveling Nurse at the Hospital is AMAZING! There is a Nurse at the Clinic side who is so Beautiful in Heart and Soul. (I was Really out of it so cannot remember her name). She stayed several hours past her shift to care for me and wheel me across to Hospital to my room and patiently waited until I was OK before she left. I could not have asked for a more Thoughtful or Warm Staff from the Ladies at the front desk, to the Man who gave me a ride in the Golf Cart and even John (he said he’s 87 but that’s hard to believe..he’s so energetic) the Gentleman who push my Wheelchair to the Clinic across the street. I even arrived WAY early for my Appointments and they got me right in… Great Food, Comfortable Bed, Good Temp in room.
4 Stars is due to the Lack of cleanliness of the Room and Bathroom… Toilet had NOT been cleaned upon arrival, Crud buildup along Floor edges and worse in corners. Cleaning girls came in today..took out Garbage, Wiped half of my Table down, Sink down and Syringe Disposal off. 1 of them PEEKED into bathroom then they left..Cleanliness is a...
Read moreEveryone is so nice! I am the most scariest person on earth when it comes to needles. The nurses were very nice and help me to relax a lot. They didn’t leave no marks on me THANK GOD! I have been traumatized me at other hospitals! I went for a hysteroscopy D&C . I was put under general anesthesia. I was so scared but the doctors and nurses were so nice and helpful I DIDNT FEEL A THING. I had cramping on my upper thigh but as I walked to the pharmacy, it went away. Oh my neck did hurt a lil on one side, probably from the breathing tube and adjusting of my neck. Dr.Jacobson was my surgeon! Tracy did my iv and it’s been years sense nobody has bruised me ! Thank you TRACY!
Oh yea The front desk sucks at giving directions! 😂
801 Broadway N, Fargo, ND 58102 If your looking at the BREAST CANCER CENTER HOSPITAL, the address 801 is towards your left side of that building and door 1 of on the right side of the address when u see it! ITS NOT A LONG WALK TO THE BACK, don’t worry about driving up the ramp if u are already infront of the hospital! She gave me like 12 different directions and said it’s WAY IN THE BACK TOO...
