I went into this shop last week on my wedding day. It was morning and I had planned to get whatever flowers they had on hand to make a bouquet. It was a last minute thing and I did not want to be a pest. I figured if they didn't have anything, I would go elsewhere.

The lady in the store was very kind about it, but she never told me her name or either I forgot it. She asked my favorite color and I let her know it was purple. She informed me that they might get some beautiful flowers in before 3pm (wedding was at 3:30pm). I was really excited and waited for their call.

At around 2:45pm, I heard nothing from them. I called to see what was going on and this other rude lady answered. She said she had no idea what I was talking about and that no one else in the store knew what I was talking about! I told her that it was ok and to have a nice day. It was VERY annoying to me. I could have just gone somewhere else.

To add to my frustration, after I was enjoying a lovely time with my family after getting married....they called me and left a voicemail telling me my bouquet was ready at almost 5pm. Seriously? I thought no one knew what I was talking about?!

I am giving two stars because the woman I spoke to initially was SO kind to me, but I am not sure what happened with communication on that one with the other employees. If it wasn't for her, this would be one star.

When I was told that people didn't know that Schroeter's Flowers did weddings, I was shocked. Mrs. Schroeter and her flower shop is absolutely fantastic and did an incredible job with my wedding. Please excuse the long review but I wanted to detail to future brides how great this place was.

Mrs. Schroeter met with me several times and took my repeated phone calls in stride :) She made sure my bouquets were perfect and not only listened to my ideas but also gave her experienced opinion kindly. She dropped off my bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages at the church in Ferndale not only on time, but added vases with water, taped in a box so nothing was spilled, and so the flowers stayed fresh on the party bus for presentation at our venue.

Mrs. Schroeter put together stunning arrangements at our venue, The Gem Theatre, and I will be sure to have that venue add them to their vendor list. The flowers were beautiful, the arrangements gorgeous, where people were so excited to take them and even after almost two weeks after our wedding, the arrangements are still stunning in our home.

This flower shop is so welcoming, the staff is incredibly kind, and yes, they do weddings and they do them beautifully. I recommend them wholeheartedly. I can't say enough wonderful things about them. I will never spend another dime here. I decided to buy locally instead of big box flower shops, big mistake. Ordered at 6:30 AM online roses and chocolate and asked for morning delivery, Called at 11AM, was told delivery person was late and would be shipped soon. Got a call half hour later asking if it was OK to use different flowers I arrangement, I said ok. Weird because our last conversation she said it was ready for delivery. I called again at 2:30, which was too late because my wife leaves work at 2:00, which is where the arrangement was to be delivered. I thanked the lady for ruining my birthday surprise to my wife and she laughed at me, then asked if it was OK to ship to my residence. By this time I didn't care anymore and said sure. The flowers arrived around 4:00, without the chocolate. Had to call once more to arrange a delivery of candy the next day to my wife's work, in which this lady had to ask for the address AGAIN.
