I used to love coming to this Lego store but as of the last couple months their customer service has suffered. The last 2 times I have visited the store there have been some workers with a really poor attitude and almost seem that they are smarter than you and almost talk down to you like you’re an idiot. The first incident I have tried returning a set that I had built but was not a fan of and the “manager” gave me so much grief with returning the set and he stated that it was a policy issue and he made me read the policy myself (which had nothing indicating that I wouldn’t be able to return the set) I have never had an issue returning any sets previously and some with high price tags. I tried kindly letting him know that I have done returns with bigger sets and he tells me to my face “Are you sure? I seriously doubt that” with a smug and condescending attitude, from there I just left the store. That same day I called the Lego customer support and they let me send in the set for a return with no issue. The second incident was today when I had asked a worker if they carried any of the large technic sets like the Ferrari Daytona or the Lamborghini Sian and the worker said to me “Are you sure those are real sets? I would know about them if they were real, where did you see these?” From here I kindly told him that they were similar to the new McLaren set that is coming out soon and that they are still listed on the Lego site and I was just curious about the sets. From here he repeats “If they were real I’d know about them but we can look online and see and we can order them from the store and ship to your home” at this point I’m over him telling me this in a condescending manner so I leave the store with my friend. These experiences have almost turned me off to one of my favorite hobbies and it’s a shame that a few bad apples can ruin something truly fun. I hope they do not talk to other...
Read moreApologies for that! I’ve noted your preference to avoid em dashes. Here’s the revised review:
The LEGO Store at Station Park in Farmington, Utah is a must-visit for any LEGO fan, young or old! From the moment I walked in, I could tell it was going to be a great experience. The store is spacious, well-organized, and filled with a huge variety of LEGO sets. Whether you’re into Star Wars, Harry Potter, City, or Technic, there’s something here for everyone. I was impressed by how easy it was to browse the sets, and the staff were so helpful when I had questions about availability or recommendations.
One of my favorite parts of the store was the Pick & Build Wall. I could pick and choose individual bricks in any color or shape I wanted. It’s perfect for creating your own custom creations, and I found it really fun to just get creative and pick out unique pieces. I also loved the Build a Minifigure station. It was so cool to be able to make a one-of-a-kind minifigure with all sorts of heads, torsos, and accessories. I spent way more time than I expected there!
The store is more than just a place to shop. It’s an experience. They regularly host events like free build challenges and other activities, which is awesome if you’re looking to get more involved in the LEGO community. The staff, called Brick Specialists, are super friendly and really knowledgeable. They were more than happy to help me find exactly what I was looking for and offer tips on how to build.
Located at Station Park, the store is in a great spot, and parking is easy to find. If you’re in the Farmington area, this is the perfect place to pick up your next LEGO set or just spend some time having fun building.
Overall, the LEGO Store at Station Park is a fantastic place to shop, build, and have fun. Whether you’re buying a set or looking for interactive experiences, it’s definitely worth a visit. I’ll be back...
Read moreDon’t get me wrong, I am a Lego collector, lover of Lego, and have bought hundreds of sets. This one star is for the service and staff.
Our experience: on 12/6/23 we wandered into the store excited that we happened to see it next to our hotel not noticing the time it happened to be 9:53. The doors were open and unlocked the lights on, music playing, everything seemed normal. We walked in and started looking around, a few minutes later we were approached by two employees who emphatically stated they were not open for five minutes and we had to leave right then. Please note it was below freezing outside. I questioned them why the doors were open and unlocked? They would not answer our questions and said “please leave”. So we left, where we would’ve probably bought a decent dollar amount of legos we will now choose another store. It was a ridiculous and rude encounter and I’ve never felt more unwelcome at...
