Unfortunately, my initial appointment was for 3pm but the ships changed it to 2pm which I agreed. Today was my appointment and I had a bad experience with the Locks House. I went in for my 2pm appointment and left at 2:45pm without getting my hair done. I arrived at my 2pm appointment 10-min early and had no problem with Mica being 15-mins late but then I was still waiting. Mica didn’t call on me until 2:36pm then told me to wait in her room and it was 2:45pm and she still had not started on my hair. Instead, she was talking to someone at the front desk. Mica then explained that she had a walk-in before me and she could not stop to call me to ask me if I could come to my appointment a little later. But, she had me waiting even longer to talk to someone at the front desk while I was already waiting for her. I don’t understand how now two walk-ins took precedence over my scheduled appointment. Mica handled the situation in a very unprofessional and very inconsiderate of my time. My time is just as important as hers. Mica apologized as I was walking out the door but her explanation for placing two people ahead of me and making me was was very disrespectful and disappointing. A 15-min Grace period is reasonable but if it’s gonna take longer, communication is key. I’m prefer to support black owned businesses but not when I’m treated like this.
