Sweet Serendipity, it's Atomic Planet Comics If you love Comic Books and Pop Culture, check out this new place on 96th Street east of I-69. Last week, while running errands, I got behind this incredibly slow driver and decided to take a different route than usual to get away from this car. I ended up driving by the GNC on 96th Street, and in the corner of my eye, I saw this colorful sign above the store next door. It was a brand new comic book store called Atomic Planet Comics. "Huh, that wasn't there before." I thought to myself. I decided to check it out; after all, it has been a long time since I've been in a comic book store. What a great store! The store owner, Greg, was kind, fun, friendly, and incredibly helpful. He made me feel right at home as we nerded out talking about comics, movies, TV, and Legos. I just stumbled upon this place, and it was great. I'm really looking forward to stopping in again soon.

As others have said, this is the best card shop around! The owner is super nice and friendly, he went out of his way to make sure I got the Pokemon cards I wanted for this release, and he just wants the retail price. I love to support great local stores like this instead of big box stores or stores that will mark their items up to what scalpers are charging. I seriously recommend coming here!

The owner was very nice and answered my questions. He gave me several recommendations on current series to read. The shop has some really cool spiderman back issues I was tempted to buy. I would make this my go to shop if I lived closer. Edit: I decided to go back and pick up those spiderman back issues I was looking at. They were in beautiful condition and at a fair price.

Nice little hole in the wall if you're looking for mainstream comics or TCG. If you're looking for a place that has rare gems, I'd recommend taking a look. I managed to find some older Battle Classics, Unknown Soldier, and 2 copies of '93 Zorro. The prized comics are on the walls or the case though.

They also have a local comic book creator, a limited manga selection, board games, legos, and some collectables.

I have a feeling that this store will continue to find success on comics and cards alone, but I'm hopeful that the manga selection will...

Stopped by this comic shop after researching high rated comic stores in Indy. I was not disappointed, Gregg the owner was really nice. I was also looking at couple old spiderman comics I wanted to buy and he provided me a lot of insight on them. I was also happy to pick up over the weekend The Amazing Spider man Issue 300 Spanish version and Venom Lethal Protector Issue 1 Spanish version as well.
