Pizza Twist — Restaurant in Fishers

Generally speaking I like this place, high quality ingredients and pizza that tastes good. I like the sauces and it's one the better pizza places I've ordered from since moving to the area. However, I have had ordering issues several times. I have normally order on the phone. Only recently has the online ordering started working. I used it finally for the 1st time today, ordered an Italian Garlic for delivery and got a completely different pizza. Drove to the store, verify that it was the wrong pizza and they offered to make the correct Italian Garlic one size bigger. No big deal, mistakes happen. Problem being the wrong pizza was made again (different pizza but still incorrect). At this point I'm hungry enough I don't care and I didn't feel like sticking around for the pizza to be made a third time.

For the record, the now two wrong pizzas I have both taste good. Might even order them again in the future (though I'm still not quite sure what one of them is) but without the ingredients I dislike such as mushrooms.

I'd encourage people to give this place a try. I know I'll give them another shot but I do hope that their order quality...

Unexpectedly WOW. My go-to local pizza shop with decent vegan options was unresponsive, so in a pinch I chose this place. The name does not do justice to the wealth of exotic options. I expected typical deep-dish Chicago pizza, but with perhaps a few fancier topping options (artichoke hearts, pine nuts, arugula, peppadew peppers, etc.) Instead, what I got was a wide variety of pizza and Indian-fusion pizza options, WITH PLENTY OF CLEARLY-LABELLED VEGAN CHOICES. I got the plant-based chicken tikka masala pizza, and it was phenomenal. I walked away with a long list of vegan selections I want to try next (Bombay garlic chicken pizza, Combination pizza, plant-based cheesy bread, and samosas - to name a few). They also have clearly-labelled halal options/ingredients (with a "cleanly washed knife" choice in the pizza cut options). Bonus points for inclusivity. Ultimately, this would all be for naught if the flavor or quality wasn't great. BUT IT WAS FANTASTIC. The owner is very rude, and has forgotten the basics of customer service. The website is horrible and it is not flexible enough to handle even the simplest customization. Often times the menu items in store do not reflect the ones on the website. I noticed that even in many of the 3+ reviews, the commonality is that the staff is rude. That is not a recipe for success for any business. Furthermore when providing feedback over the phone to the owner, I was told that I don't have to order from them, and that I can take my business elsewhere. When I went to go pick up the food, I was told that if you are rude to us, then we have the right to be rude back. Apparently giving direct feedback is being rude these days. If you really like this pizza chain, and don't want to deal with a rude staff, take your business to the Chicago's Pizza with a twist located in Plainfield, IN.
