I was recently a victim of a very bad hair salon experience that left all of my hair heat damaged. I had made the hard decision to cut all of my hair off so that I can regrow it again fresh and healthy. I gave Great Clips a call because I had known from several people that they offer cheap prices for haircuts. Prior to coming in, I called and the woman who picked up the phone told me they would cut my hair and was really nice about providing information on location, pricing, and their loyalty program. I arrived and was greeted by Cindy who cut my hair and made me feel comfortable and excited about my decision. With every couple of inches shaved off, she asked if I wanted to keep it at that particular length and style it. It made me feel special that she at least asked and complimented my choice along the way. When she had a question about a lineup, she asked her coworker if it was common for Black women to do so before she did one on me. We had cut it down to a 2 and I was really satisfied how even it was all around. The haircut was only $13 and I tipped $10 for such a great experience. Read moreBeen coming here for years. Never had an issue. The past 3 times I’ve been here the cuts have always been botched. I get a simple fade on the sides and about an inch and a half or so on top. Been leaving lately with bad blending on the sides and unevenness in the length at the top and don’t notice at the time of the cut since my hair is wet. I don’t pay for beard trimming as I do it myself but this last time.. while cutting my sideburns.. she shaved way too far down and messed my beard up. I was luckily able to somewhat save it at home but still. Same lady last two times. There’s an older lady with glasses and long curly white hair who’s great and another lady..maybe in her mid 40’s.. on the tan side who’s great too. But the newer people could be coached a bit better.
