Horrible...do not ever use any of these stores. I purchased a phone on Saturday in the Belton, SC location after my mother dropped and broke hers. She lives alone and it was imperative she have a phone to call for help should she need it. It Took 3 1/2 + hours and I was the only one in the store. Phone would not activate. They replaced the sims card & was told to take it home & it would activate within the hour. Next day phone still would not activate. Spent another 2+ hours in the store. Four calls to tech support. The store employee told me it had the wrong sims cards & sorry the phone won't work. I do have another phone but it was ordered for someone & I can't give it to you. She can't give me a refund either because her "manager" is not in and she is not authorized. Day three....taking time off work because manager is in the store but she can't help me until 9:00 when she clocks in. The computers will not work until 9. One excuse after another. NEVER again will I go anywhere but a true Verizon store. I intend to call Verizon corporate...this type of customer service on a store that has their name on it is very bad for their brand. Since I bought out her contract I suppose I can take my business elsewhere. That's the good thing about being in a small town & social media. At least I can get the word out not to use this location. All I want is for someone to make this right and stop giving me excuses and...
Read moreIf you like to pay extra for services and be taken advantage of this is the place for you. I took two phones into the Frankfort tcc to have them upgraded and learned a 140.00 lesson. tcc requires you to takes out insurance on the new phone and tell you that you can cancel it after 30 days to cover the phone if you return it. tcc also added two memberships to the bill without informing me or explaining each plan pp membership "which sounds appropriate" and redux membership. when I asked about the cost to upgrade they said they charge to take the phone out of the box and set it up. They refused to refund the charges because it was past 14 days when I noticed it. tcc IS NOT a Verizon corporate store they only resell the products. If I had gone to a Verizon Corporate store I would have only been charges the tax on the phone not an extra 70.00 for two useless memberships and a month of insurance. tcc is only out to load each bill up in order to make their sales quota. Be sure to go to a Corporate Verizon store for the best deal. I found many of the same complaints about the pp and redux memberships on other tcc...
Read moreI rarely write reviews, but Lynn Motyka from Verizon absolutely deserves the recognition. She went far above and beyond in helping me with my business account. For a while, I was confused about why I was paying so much and felt like I was being taken advantage of—but until then, I had no one who could help me sort through it. Lynn personally reached out to let me know she had noticed the issue, and then worked closely with me to adjust my plan so the overspending would stop moving forward.
But she didn’t stop there. Lynn took the extra step to help me explore every possible avenue to recover the money I had already overpaid. She was kind, understanding, incredibly patient, and extremely generous with her time. What would normally be a frustrating and stressful process felt easy and calm, simply because I had Lynn on my side.
To be totally honest, if it weren’t for Lynn, I probably wouldn’t still be a Verizon customer. Her commitment to serving me, not just as a customer but as a person, made all the difference. Verizon is lucky to have her, and I hope she gets all the recognition...
