I found a dress that was on the clearance rack with several of the same dresses and a few others. I noticed it didn't have the original price tag and looked to be marked down just not with a pink tag. So I asked the sales associate 3 times if it was on clearance and if she was sure it was because I didn't want my daughter to get her heart set on a dress I couldn't afford. After her assuring me it was I showed my daughter and she fell in love with the dress. Well when I went to pay the same sales lady was cashing me out and started apologizing saying she made a mistake and could not honor the markdown price(clearance items were an extra 60% off.) My daughter was heart broken but there was nothing I could do. I called to let the manager(possibly Christina) know what had happened and all she basically said was, "next time you return you can have a manager show you how to read the tags correctly." That is why I asked her associate. So maybe the managers can train the associate to read...
Read moreUnbelievable amount of staff standing around in the men's dept. I went in to get a dress shirt for a funeral. Five sales people standing around a register getting verbally berated by their immediate supervisor. I interrupted their conversation for my question about having a shirt I found in my size. I deliberately asked the supervisor directly because it seemed the shortest path to getting my answers even though I really didn't like the kind of person he had he'd himself to be. The way he spoke to the other sales people it gave me the impression they might not be able to give me immediate answers and would have to ask their supervisor anyway. Dillard's, like just about every other business in America, had really cut back on their inventory. They had plenty of white shirts but very few black (for a funeral). Almost all of their selection was in a slender cut. I can't even get my arms into a shirt like that but I for a normal size off the...

I am extremely offended. I had bought the Nikes in a different store and did not have a bag for them so I can see if they had stopped me while I was walking out the door to check a receipt, but to hunt me down in the store, where I'm no where near an entrance/exit, was ridiculous. Aren't there tags on the shoes to begin with? Do you seriously think I would walk out the door with these shoes, in a dress and sandals, and just start bolting for my car? I will not be shopping...
