Billy Reid — Local services in Florence

Ay man, Billy Reid is cool and his shop is beyond top notch. I came here to say, Susanne Esslinger’s comment (9mos before this) was out of hand G. Miss Susanne Esslinger is a super Karen and honestly probably couldn’t afford what she bought to begin with, then rent was due, tried to exchange it after she wore it to the club and slept in it 3 days in a week and a half esé. Went as far get to his shop right at 10 & stand outside his shop with wet hair for an hour just to be rejected and looking a fool, fool. I can only imagine the fool this person made of themselves. This is a high end clothing store not freaking Walmart esé. As far as SUGGESTIONS go I would say, Susanne. Please girl. Go shop at TJ Maxx like the rest of us and stay in your lane. Don’t do drugs kids and ALWAYS drink water esé. Amen

Trying to exchange an item. Item was great, not so much for customer service. Recording said “Open at 10:00 AM” tried to call, no answer. So went to store, posted on door, open at 11:00AM. So waited , wet hair and all until 11:00. In the meantime, got a rep on phone and explained my issue, she would address. Went in at 11:00, was told they had not opened at 10:00 for over 2 years! Suggested they might want to update their voice message. Then promised to check Atlanta store to see if my exchange would work there? I called back after 1:30, they were too busy. In the meantime, I called Atlanta store on my own, but was told they could not hold an item for even one day! Guess I expected too much from such an high end store. My bad. Don’t know who’s minding the store, but I’ve had prompter service at Walmart....

When my husband and I got engaged, we knew there was only one designer we wanted to wear at our wedding - Billy Reid. So where else to go than the Mecca itself, Billy's headquarters in Florence, Alabama. We picked up my mom, my brother and my mom's girlfriend in Valdosta, Georgia and drove to Northern Alabama (my brother is a musician and worships the sacred ground of Muscle Shoals). The day was spent with master tailor Mila, choosing every fabric, lining, button, cut and detail of Brett and I's suits.
