Products and pricing have always been great at Kohl’s. Customer service is normally good as well, but on our last visit Saturday May 31, 2025 at around 6pm, it was disgustingly horrible. We were greeted at the door by two associates when we entered. When we went to check out about 20 minutes later, the same two associates are still at the door chatting. One is now playing around in a wheelchair. We wind our way through the maze of point-of-sell items to get to the checkout counter (right by the front door) where only one associate is working only to have someone walk in the door and go straight to the same counter to process a return. While we wait, the two “greeters” help another shopper find the beginning of the check out maze and then another. Read moreI placed an online order because I am disabled and I can't drive. Customer service was called and they told me to return it to the store. I tried to find someone to take it without any luck. I called back and explained this. I was told they would email me a label. Two days later I didn't receive a label and did a live chat. I was told that no label would be sent and I would have to pay return shipping and I should find someone to take me to the store. I explained my situation again. The agent then told me she broke her ankle so she understood, which is not being disabled, but told me I would have to pay or have items that don't work. Threw clothes down during checkout - one didn’t have a tag. My son went back to get another one. My daughter was straightening the gift cards-putting like cards with like cards. Miata stopped what she was doing, leaned way over the counter and said “don’t mess up the cards”. My 8 yr old daughter said “they were already messed up”.
