When I tell you my husband and I are going through HELL trying get our washer we already paid for. Getting the run around about a washer you paid for when they have your money is crazy!!! We will NEVERRR in our entire life purchase anything concerning Best Buy again. We saw a washer online and ordered it on 10/25/25 solely because it said we could pick it up in a hour ($518). We get to best buy and the guy says we thought we had a washer in the back for you but when I went to pull it I noticed it had detergent all in it and dents were all over it. So he says Do you want me to cancel your order my husband says yes. The guy says oh by the way its saying in progress right now meaning the money wasnt taken. The money wouldn't have been taken unless you completed the whole transaction and received your washer. We find out on Tues 10/28 that order was never canceled and our money was taken!! So I called the best buy num. The guy on the phone says it was never canceled do you wanna cancel now? Because if not your washer will be in for pick up for SURE Thursday 10/30. So o said fine we'll get it if its gone be there for certain Thursday....My husband and I wait alllll day Thursday. Get to best buy at 7p.m. All We got was more excuses but still no washer. They gone tell us the site was suppose to say it would get delivered to the store on the 30th and we were supposed to pick up on the 31st and they were sorry that the site gave us confirmation to PICK UP our washer on the 30th instead of the 31st... Now here we are it's after 5:00 on the 31st and still haven't heard anything bout our washer. So i just decided to call and the customer service rep said the washer was never delivered to the store😡😡. The rep said If we cancel we have to wait 7-10 days to be refunded. So suppose that was the only money we had to go towards a washer. Then we would either have to wait until best buy get done playing in our face not caring and finally give us our washer we paid for almost a week ago. Or get the money back and have to wait over a week to be refunded and then try to find another washer. Either way it's a lose lose because God only knows when we will receive our washer that they have our money for. And if we get a refund it will be over a week before we get it to put towards another washer. If we get a refund it will take over a week so best buy will be sat us back 2 weeks without a washer becauseof their foolishness. ...1 mistake is understandable but at this point this isn't a misunderstanding its just complete neglect towards their customers. And that's not right!!! But there wasn't any confusion about them...
Read moreI ordered my new LG washing machine and Samsung dryer for my house from Best Buy and the Geek Squad delivered them from this Best Buy location in Florence, SC since I live nearby in another town in South Carolina near Florence. The prices on the laundry room appliances were competitive to other major retailers after I shopped around online.
The delivery was not far from the order date, and the Geek Squad guys were respectful, polite, and professional when unliading and installing my new laundry appliances. There were some electrical issues with my home before my new washing machine could operate properly, but that was outside the scope of the expertise of the Geek Squad and my electrician at that time resolved the problem with new wiring for my laundry room. Once this was completed the Geek Squad returned promptly to finish hooking up my appliances, which have since functioned fine.
Also, Best Buy did a fantastic job & was very prompt on giving me a discount and processing my return for a three-prong cord, which came with my LG washing machine but was not suitable for my house, as I needed a higher voltage four-prong cord according to my past electrician.
When I arrived at this Best Buy location btw the employees working inside were all polite and respectful, the store inside was not crowded during business hours and it looked well stocked, clean, and tidy. My return was quickly completed on my debit card with practically no waiting time.
I am giving four stars instead of five because later when I tried to order a GE coil range, they had a brisk delivery date, but then later told me on the day of delivery, they did not have this range in stock anymore and it was on back order. I would have to wait for delivery until the following month. So I did not want to wait that long for a range, so I had to order the exact same range from Lowes and received it in the next few days. It seems regarding appliances, Best Buy does not have the same level of stock or inventory as say Lowes or Home Depot. At least, Best Buy promptly processed and finalized my full refund on this range in a timely manner.

Read moreOn September 29, 2022/between 1830-1905 hrs. I entered the store for a pickup for an online purchase. We browsed the store for a few minutes and decided to pick up the items that we ordered. We were advised by an associate to stand on the other side of the counter for assistance. A few other customers came in behind me and began waiting as well. Another associate from the Geek Squad pointed to me and another individual stating to another associate that those customers needed help with a pickup. The associate decided not to go with who was 1st in line which was already irritating but we stayed calm. Another associate seemed confused on a customer's credit card request which she spoke loudly about. Probably not a secure way of handling people's personal information. The other associate who was allowing the line cut then proceeded to take the customers television outside to her car so we decided to go to the car and use the pickup service too. While sitting in the car for about 10 minutes they began closing so we asked one of the associates leaving were they bringing our items out. He rudely advised, "go up there and see for yourself". Now I'm angry at this time because they were gonna close knowing we were there waiting. I got out my car and asked someone closing the store was someone bringing our items. He stated that pickup closed an hour earlier. Let me mention that he was the gentleman who took the TV to the car 10 minutes earlier to another customer who was there for a pickup. I at that time began yelling in anger. Another employee was able to calm the situation by getting the items as requested earlier. It took that much work for someone to do there job. We drove almost an hour to get there during preparation for a storm for an item needed by the weekend to get that type of treatment. We will now do as we should have and shop elsewhere.
