Check in at 5:26pm. Told us (party of 3) 1hr wait... Ok. Waited 1hr. Called us in to be seated at 6:27pm. We got our drinks an appetizer in a timely manner and it was good. That's when it went south. We placed our orders and my wife ordered the Queenland chicken and shrimp pasta. She substituted shrimp for steak because she doesn't eat shrimp. Server told her she could get it how ever she wanted it considering she don't eat shrimp. Cool sounds great..... We waited another hour being 7:25pm before we got our food. Wife's plate had shrimp and steak instead of the chicken and steak she asked for and my son's steak was cold. The runner that brought our plates seen that something wasn't right and tried to take my wife's plate back but my wife told her she would take care of it with the server she didn't take our order so the runner told our server to come to the table and that my wife's plate was supposed to have chicken not shrimp. The server brings a piece of chicken out sits it on the table and ask if it was ok to do that or do you have a food allergy. My wife told her the pasta had shrimp all over it and she wasn't eating it. So instead of relaying the message to get it right she argued how she did her job and it wasn't her fault. I really don't care who's fault it is we just wanted it fixed. So she got the manager to come to the table. Manager offered to fix another plate but we told the manager we didn't want to get another plate because it took an hour to get the first plate... she insisted it would be right and fast. My son told her his steak was cold and she offered to replace that also. I then told her I think we just want to leave. She insisted we wait a min she would fix my wife's plate and bring boxes to the table and dinner was on her. Awesome win win we leave cool. Wife's to go plate still had a single shrimp in it. Why? Petty? Who knows. I'm only one customer and I won't return but I hope this helps others make better...
Read moreWent in for dinner. Had placed my name on seating for 6:45 pm prior to arrival. Haven't been to this location in almost 2 years. We arrived around 630 p.m., letting staff know we were waiting..staff.said around 20 -25 minutes before seating. I ordered a classic prime rib with loaded potato. I ordered the prime rib medium since Rare bothers my system now. The steak arrived near rare. There was no major warmth to the meat at all. I asked for the meat to be returned and cooked better. Upon return, the meat did look medium as requested. I tasted the meat, and it had a freezer burned taste to it. Thinking I may be off track a bit, I asked my quest to sample the meat, and it was found to have that taste by them also . I spoke to the waitress and told her about the taste profile. She went and spoke to someone in the kitchen, and a young man came to the table and spoke to me. He said that they would recook the plate. Upon recook, I tasted the meat, and it once again tasted freezer hurt but on a much smaller level. The same young man returned, and I spoke to him about it tasting freezer hurt / freezer burned. He said that he hadn't heard of that term before. 'Freezer burn occurs when frozen food has been damaged by dehydration and oxidation due to air reaching the food. It is generally caused by food not being securely wrapped in air-tight packaging.' The young man did offer to fix me something to go or bring out some desert. I declined the offer, saying I was done. He did remove the steak from the bill true. However, he didn't remove the charge for the tea. It's not a major overlook, but the staff could have been more focused on the issues at hand. All in all, one of the worst experiences with...
Read moreMy family a party of 13 visited this establishment on December 7, 2024. I valled prior to arrival request seating. Provided number in party and was told they could accommodate, 15 minutes being the lesst wait time 30- 40 being the most. To.come inside and speak to hostess upon arrival. Upon arrival the hostess and assistant manager was oblivious to the conversation after I recounted it and stated, I haven't spoken to anyone on the phone. They took my name, number and was told they were at that time cleaning a section It was 6:38 pm. We sat patiently, waited, spoke to the manager again due to wait and finally seated after an hr. Now we're seated one of our family members is in a wheelchair. They gave us 2 booths that seat 6 and placed a chair on the end. 2 of our family members sat at adjoining booth to have more room and we're rudely told those tables were for someone else. Needless to say the experience was ruined. We were there for my brother's birthday. Peter the manager appeared apologetic but mainly for optics. The staff was huddled in corners mumbling and I'm thinking what are you all scrutinizing every party. Providing service is what the job entails. One server threw her hands up and said I'm only the server when asked what happened with the seating originally requested. I drove 45 minutes to celebrate a happy occasion and ended in an anxiety attack, family upset and no food. Shame on you for not caring. I will never eat Outback again. My organization is supposed to have our Christmas dinner at another Outback location on Tuesday party of 25, we eat there multiple times a year. Reservations will be changed as soon as I can contact...
