What a terrible experience. As always there's a line of cars at the drive-thru so we decide to go in to the restaurant to do a takeout order. A group of customers were standing there for over 10 minutes when an employee said they've stopped taking orders and they'll just be a minute. After another five plus minutes, another person said that they've stopped taking orders it would just be a minute. I look outside and everyone at the drive-thru is getting their order and everyone that ordered online is getting their order. So I go to speak to a manager and ask, why is it that we (pointing to all the customers inside) are not as important as the people going through the drive-through or getting their orders online. She told me they were backed up. I said you're not so backed up that you're not taking care of everyone else and there's an entire restaurant full of people waiting to place an order. Within a few minutes magically they started taking orders for the multiple people that were inside the restaurant. When the food was ready it sat on the counter for five minutes before someone came to give it to us. Sorry but the food isn't that special to wait a total of 40 minutes for it. This is just an example of horrible management. How can you possibly tell a group of people on the inside of the restaurant that they've stopped taking your order but everyone else around you is being served. That being said, this chick fil a’s service has not been to the standard expected from chick fil a.
The first annoyance was when we went through the drive thru, sent us around to park so they could bring it to us, and it took so long that I went inside to see if it was ready, and when I asked about it, they just handed me my food.
The second was when I used the mobile app for the first time since my husband and I were crunched for time during lunch. I picked the option to go inside and pick up our food. The app said the food was ready but I waited about 10 min before going up to the counter and inquiring. The cashier walked behind the door and grabbed our food which had been sitting back for for who knows how long.
The third was when we went through the drive thru and we’re again asked to pull forward and wait for someone to bring it out to us. We waited for a while, so we pulled around to the front to see what was going on. My husband went in and almost immediately came out with our food. It was 10 min from the time we paid at the window to us getting our food.
I would like to reiterate that while I am a supporter of chick fil a because I love the food, we’re pretty over this particular chick fil a wasting so much of our time and will likely stop coming back if this...
Read moreI came here on Friday wanting a hot breakfast. The line was to the road but I didn't mind it's Chick-fil-A. I get to the lady she brushes me off told me to go up. I pull up to the drive through intercom while she takes about 4 cars orders behind me. The second line empties because I have to wait to place my order. Ppl start blowing their horns. The girl comes up. "Oh they aren't taking orders here?" I told her I guess not. She "takes" my order tells me to pay at the window when I try to pay with my card. I thought it was weird but let's get the line moving. She DID not put in my order. I asked for the manager told her the issue told her it was frustrating to have had that happen. Manager gets an attitude and walks off! The young lady takes my order manager brings my drink. I try to hand them my card they refuse. I tell them have a good day. Of course no response. I literally ended up throwing half my food away because it was cold and greasy. But who cares I got free food right. Anything to get a person to leave i guess. No principle, I would have PROUDLY paid for what I WANTED not for what they wanted me to have. I wouldn't expect this behavior from this chain...
