Love this store so much for good deals with clothes and one of the few places I can find attractive plus size wear. The store is nice and friendly and has a huge selection. Prices are great and they markdown a section of the store every Monday. I have bought nice tops for $5-$15 each from cold shoulder solids to formal dress wear. Seriously beautiful clothes, sturdy and comfortable. They wear well, fit true to size, and the prices can't be beat. I love that my whole family can shop here from my tiny daughter to my slender wifey to my curvy self. There's also fantastic homeware! Decor, furniture, and plenty of home and kitchen needs from tools to cookware and utensils. Rugs, blankets, linens, shoes, toys, snacks. My only complaint reduces this store from five stars to four by itself. Disability accessibility is not great. They don't have even a manual wheelchair in the store and there are not even any places to sit except the one bench in the shoe section. I feel this store sorely needs a couple of manual wheelchairs and to place a few spots to rest around the large floorplan. As it is, with a back injury, I go in far less than I otherwise would if they made accessibility a priority. Overall, excellent place to shop. Ross, please add accessibility for your...
Read moreI’ve always had a great experience at the Ross in Florence until last night December 22, 2023. I was next in line and went to the register, the cashier named Laurie was waiting on the manager to come confirm something. I put my stuff back in the shopping cart, got back in line in case the other cashier was free to check me out first. Laurie got the other customer taken care of and said “next”. When I started towards the register to be checked out she said “NO” and pointed to the lady behind me. The other cashier was still waiting on another customer when Laurie finished with the lady that was behind me. I walked towards her register AND she walked off leaving the manager to wait on me. I was not rude at all to Laurie but I did complain to the manager whose name was Mercedes! The manager acted like she could care less that an employee was rude to a customer! I’m a weekly shopper at this store but I think TJMaxx will be getting all of my...
Read moreDavy, who acording to his badge, is the area supervisor, expressed some of the most racist and disrespectful behavior I have witnessed from a service employee. he was yelling at a young Hispanic man for not understanding his question about cash or card, rolling his eyes at him, mocking him to the other cashier, a woman who's name I did not get, and telling him he could not wait for his father to bring the money for their things. the level of unprofessionalism and outright disrespect was appalling. my friend, another customer, and myself were so disturbed by this interaction we tried helping the boy and defending him to the man who just continued to yell and act out. sad to see this is the kind of person that represents our local ross. I'm concerned to know what kind of environment is at this store that made him feel comfortable being so disrespectful so blatantly. we will not be back. Davy, I hope you have the week...
