While working out of town, I visited this location after a terrible customer service experience at the local Walmart super center. I walked in because the line (just like any Chik-fil-A anywhere) was quite long and all I really wanted was a lemonade. There was no line inside and as I approached the counter there was a young lady who was clearly in the midst of doing several other things but she alerted another team member of my arrival. I ordered the lemonade and decided why not grab a fry as well.. to my dismay there was no lemonade. Not at drive through, not for dine in. As other team members paced around exclaiming “there’s no lemonade”, the young lady who was clearly busy proceeds to walk to the back and returns with lemonade. She doesn’t just bring the lemonade up for everyone else, she also immediately gets my cup and pours it so as to keep me from waiting for the main container to be refilled. Her name is Maria I believe. I insisted on tipping her because she embodies what it means to provide excellent customer service ans well ans teamwork and she deserves to be recognized and rewarded for her efforts. She also denied the tip as is the company’s policy (I was told) and came to my vehicle to thank me. But it is her who I owe thanks to. It may have only been a lemonade and she may have only been doing her job… but it made a difference for me. THANK YOU MARIA and I wish you all the best in...
Read moreDear Chick-fil-a of Florence Al...
Today you have failed. Pulling into the mall parking lot, my wife orders off of the app...thinking we could do curb-side pickup. We discover curb-side pickup is unavailable and that you have to go thru the drive-thru.
That is fine because I patronize the Athens, Al establishment some and the drive-thru line moves rather quickly.
Today's line (Saturday June 12, 2021) in Chick-fila-a of Florence, Al did not move quick at all...to the tune of a 40 minute wait. What I thought would be fast food, was quite the opposite. One good thing about screenshots of ones phone and receipt is the time stamp on it. Numbers do not lie. I will just let the photos speak for themselves.
Pic_1 - Shows Timestamp of when food was ordered (entering mall parking lot at what use to be Sears...Curbside being not an option surprised us). Pic_2 - Pic of clock inside my truck waiting to get to speaker. Pic_3 - Pic of final receipt showing time of...
Read moreYou would think, since it’s a Christian owned food chain, the service would be amazing and holy. Well not the case for me. I don’t come here to eat but I come here almost everyday to pick up doordash orders and every time I come here, I will be standing on the side where you wait for mobile orders and doordashes and the workers will look at you , but will never ask you what do you need. I always have to interrupt somebody to get their attention. And 95% of the time, the order that I’m picking up is already ready to be picked up but yet I still be standing there for so long and why? I just don’t understand how the service is that bad when the employees actually get paid pretty well. I get better service somewhere like Krystal’s or McDonald’s. If I made $15 a hour at a fast food restaurant, you’d see me chasing after customers if they...
