Belk — Local services in Florence

I was at the Florence Mall recently, but I never went in Belk's store, but sometimes, my phone appears to have a mind of its own.

Belk's is a good store, but one of the few good stores, at the Florence Mall. Within the past ten or more years, the Mall has really gone downhill (they don't even have a food court!!!). But, the Mall still has Belk's, Dillard's, and Bath & Body Works.

Okay, back on topic. Belk's, from what I can recall, is a very good department store. But, if you're interested in going, don't procrastinate too long. The rumor is, The Florence Mall may not be around much longer. So, go by, shop , and enjoy.

Back in its heyday, Florence Mall (once known as The Regency Square Mall), was an awesome hangout, and the place to meet up with your friends and family.

It's a mixed bag review. I've always had great customer service here. Even if I shopped online, when I returned something, customer service was always good. I live near Memphis and visit middle TN often so Florence is the nearest place if I have an issue that requires a return. The stores (both the womens store & the other store with everything else) are always neat, tidy, and have nice displays.

Jan 2025 - Don't order something breakable to pick up and expect it to be packaged well. I was fortunate to have had a towel in the car to wrap my breakables in. They weren't even wrapped in tissue paper, just stacked in a plastic bag.

2024 - I miss the New Directions brand. At least Wonderly is comparable in style. Not sure about the quality yet.

Aug 2021 - The store had a better selection than they have...

I went in looking for a pair of shoes not sure if I would find anything and ended up getting two great pairs of shoes during the clearance sale. Really just wanted to comment on the customer service there. I have been to several Belk locations and this one is now my favorite. I was helped by Kim - not only did she make sure I was aware of all the coupons on the app. She was like a friend helping me shop! She was extremely patient and kind. I could tell she was just genuinely trying to make my Belk shopping experience exceptional and the Florence Belk is lucky to have her working there! I will definitely be back to visit because of Kim!
