Two weeks following my first appointment with Dr. sperling for lip filler- I noticed two lumps on my lips, but due to my schedule, I was unable to immediately contact the office. I eventually reached out once I had the chance and was informed that Dr. Sperling was booked, but Maira was available to assist me. I met with Maira and explained the issue. She attempted to remedy the situation by adding more filler and suggested using a different type of filler, which required an additional cost. However, after two weeks, the bumps persisted, and one side of my lips was noticeably more swollen than the other. I returned to the office, and Maira dissolved the filler. The bumps remained, so I returned for another visit and more dissolver was added. A week later I return to the office again and she uses a different filler. It's a couple of weeks since the last visit and my final look consists of migrated filler, and noticeable protrusion of my upper lip (especially when looking from the side). I notified the office about my issue and they were more than happy to schedule me in on short notice, but I had to cancel due to a family emergency. Although the customer service provided by the staff has been excellent, I am hesitant to schedule another appointment due to the time and financial costs lost during the four attempts to address the problem. Despite the care provided by the staff, the results have been unsatisfactory, and I remain even more self-conscious about the appearance of my lips. I refrain from giving one star because, as mentioned, the staff is very very kind... I just don't know if it's worth coming here if, not only is it expensive (not nearly done paying off the balance), but it takes more than several visits to be happy. I fear that if I come for a fifth visit, I will have to come in for a sixth...

My facial here was great (the experience at least). Unfortunately, the products used made my skin break out for quite some time. They have you do a skin assessment which determines what products they will use on you, so I guess I’ll just say I don’t agree with the assessment results.

I would give one star to the attention and attitude of the receptionist staff. I arrived and was ignored. I was ready to check out and just stood around while the women continued to go on with whatever they were doing (not with other clients or on the phone). Then one of them said a dollar amount and I said oh- I didn’t realize you were ready to check me out. She didn’t say “how was everything”, address me by my name, or even make eye contact to let me know she was addressing me.

Today, I called to let them know that I got an email confirming an appointment that was definitely for someone else because I have no future appointments. I let them know the time and date and thought I was doing them a favor since no one else that I know would ever take the time out of their day (at work, at that) to make this phone call. She gave me a huge stuck up attitude and said no problem we will take care of it and kept repeating herself when I was trying to tell her the time of the appt. I thought MAYBE they had booked someone with a similar first name who MAYBE needed a reminder email...

Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I have gotten to a point where I refuse to spend my money somewhere that does not appreciate your business, who does not hire friendly and welcoming staff... it is the bare minimum in my book to make eye contact and say hello...

I received Botox for the first time in April of 2024.Within 2 minutes after injecting me,I had an immediate reaction to it.I had a pounding headache when I left the office.I thought it will go away just a side effect.But it turned into a severe migraine(24hrs straight) for 2 full weeks!I literally could not function.She did respond to my complaints but kept saying it was not Botox and to get a physical.Well I had a physical few weeks prior to the injection and passed with flying colors.She kept saying I never heard of this before of getting severe migraines after Botox.Well google it.it can cause migraines.Now after the migraines subsided I had multiple medical issues.I went to so many doctors including my gyno who said this is not menopause since you were full blown menopausal 5 yrs ago.She said it's definitely something else.So either this dr injected me improperly,gave me fake Botox( paid $1000) or I had a bad reaction to it(But denying my migraines not due to Botox was unprofessional especially it happened immediately after she injected me!) It's over a yr and I still don't feel well with other issues that boutlism poisoning can do.The brain fog was so bad that I had to stop working for awhile.So it's August 2025 and I still don't feel well.Now I need to detoxify my whole body!
