Starbucks — Restaurant in Florham Park

This was a horrible experience!!!!!! Sorry if your a black person do not go here I repeat DO NOT GO TO THIS ONE!!! The workers were very nasty to me but when the white person behind me was being helped they were very cheerful and all smiles. If I could do zero stars I would. I hate to be the person to say it was racism but that’s what it gave. The cashier Glenn was very rude I gave him my phone to show him a drink so there would be no confusion he read it over and over for about 3 minutes and then slid my phone across the counter when I handed it to him and when the drink came out it was incorrect (which I feel he did on purpose). Then I kindly said “excuse me” to a young lady named Kayla she in return was very nasty herself. She mumbled under her breath and then she took several more minutes to fix the drink and give it back. Now I’ve been in busy Starbucks before and dealt with nasty workers but this was like a team effort is giving me an issue. It was a very horrible experience from start to finish. Horrible service for mediocre coffee. Went there today and ordered two grande coffees. Took close to 30 minutes to get our full order. One coffee came out after about 15 min. While waiting for our second one they served 5 people that came after us. So it took another 15 minutes to get our second coffee. Is it just me or do you finish an order before going on to the next? There were two people making the coffee and the seemed to be more interested in making the online orders. People in the store were backing up and just standing there. When we did get our coffee there was no “sorry for the wait”. We only got a look like we were bothering them. Would not go back to this place ever again and would advise others to stay away too. very fast paced & knowledgeable crew. my only complaint isn’t even about the store, it’s about the customers. if you come here regularly, be kind. it’s not easy dealing with snobby stuck up customers & the way people will loudly talk bad about the staff while waiting is outrageous. learn manners, it’s a basic skill. it’s a basic knowledge that many customers here lack. be kind and understanding, especially if you come in a rush.
