May's Nails — Local services in Florida City

Decided to go here due to the reviews and regretted it. I will never go back to this salon. I wanted a full set Apres and a color change on my toes.The tech who did my nails was a friendly lady and she was nice but the job was sloppy and unprofessional. Instead of doing my nails at a station she did them WHILE I was in the spa chair getting my toes done. I had to hold the lamp in my LAP. The results were unsatisfying, she colored on top of the debris of filing down the nail, she completely rushed through the process. I ask the tech who was doing my toes if she could file my nail down short, she stated that it was ONLY a color change and anything else would be additional charge. I've gone to many nail shops, none of which have ever charged extra just to file down your toe nail when it's obviously has gown out. That's apart of the prep for the color change. The ladies obviously wanted to go home because it was NYE but they should have not opened to begin with. Perhaps the other techs are much better and they're the ones bringing in the reviews. Luckily because it was Apres and white polish from afar they looked OK. I got them done NYE and they started falling of 1/4. Only a week later. As I type this, all the nails on my right hand have came off. One of them split and came off the same day. My job only consist of me typing, I've had nails last 3 weeks because i dont do anything rough with my hands. It was horrible. I'll never go...

Walked in on a Saturday at 4:00. I waited an hour on a very uncomfortable couch, to begin my service and then they did my acrylic and then my pedicure separate. I didn’t leave until 7:15. It was a long time. Don’t come if in a rush. I’m used to get my pedicure and nails done at the same time in an hour and a half max. May did my nails and she was patient & kind. The ombré could have been blended better, but I took it without complaining. The person that did my pedicure was not good. They did no massage, no lotion, no scrubbing, no bubbles in the water; no treatment in the water, the pedicure chair was broken & very dirty — just cut toenails, some rinsing and polish. I was in the area before going on a cruise. It did the job. She asks each client for reviews - so that’s why she has so many. There were obviously many return customers. 3% transaction fee on credit cards, so they ask for Zelle payments or cash and they don’t take American Express. Thanks for taking a walk in...

Took my little girl and they made her feel like a princess. She loved it. Will be bring her back. The staff is great. The owner is amazing. Love this place. im taking back what i said about this place after what i saw and heard. i just cant believe they treat people like the way that they did. and on top of that my wife went back and she heard the manager talking to the other employees about an ex employee who use to work there. my wife told me how they was threatening the ex employee to take her to court and putting her out in the streets for slamming the owner name. you shouldnt talk like that in a professional place. this place is suppose to be for family and it doesnt seem like that all with all the drama and hate. what a shame and a waste. it was a good place but after everything that is happening they should take a break from this type...
