This doesn't even deserve a 1 star. I was faced with discrimination by the jewelry clerk, supervisor and manger of the store. Was refused to be checked out at the jewelry counter after standing in line for 15 to 20 min. Was told I could not check out at the jewelry counter because I did not have jewelry. I explained to the jewelry clerk that I had been standing in line before she made the announcement. Another customer who was standing behind me spoke and repeated what the jewelry clerk said about me not having jewelry merchandise to check out, and I told him that he did not have anything to do with this issue and therefore should not comment. The jewelry clerk response to me was that he can comment on my issue because he was a customer. I was still refused by her to be checked out so I requested a supervisor she approached me with a negative attitude and told me I could not check out at the jewelry counter. I ask to speak with someone above her and the manager approached me with the same bias and refused to check me out at the jewelry register. I ask if he could escort me another register to the front of the line since I had been standing in line for some time, he replied that he could not do that because it would not be fair to the customer standing in line. As I became teary eyed I asked him what about fairness to me "I'm a customer as well." He said he could not help me and if I wanted to check out I had to get in the back of another line. In which the lines were very long. I also explained to him that I checked out at the jewelry counter at the Lewisville store before, and he said they shouldn't have because it was against company policy to check out non jewelry items at the jewelry counter!! I ask to see the policy and asked for his name, he refused and walked away!! I called the credit card department immediately after leaving the store to report what happened. Was to he would pass on the the feedback dept to the store. I asked the rep in the Credit Card dept. was it policy to not check out non jewelry items at the jewelry counter he replied "no" I also told the manager supervisor and jewelry clerk that I wanted to possibly buy jewelry because I was still trying figure out my purchases for Christmas gifts. The manager told me that if I bought jewelry I can check out ONLY the jewelry at the jewelry counter, but would have to go stand in the back of the line at the another register to check out my other items. I would've had to check out at two different registers, which did not make any sense. I only had 3 small items...slippers, hat, and socks. I was so hurt I left out the store in tears not being able to purchase my items. I was in tears primarily because I was treated inhumanly by the staff and customer and it was racist bias against me as a black woman clearly. What I experienced is true but all is not in accurate order of factual events. Will be reporting to...
Read morePicked up an online order at the store. I logged on to the website to buy an item online that I found on the website. Each time I tried to enter shipping info, the website would crash and the screen would display a bunch of scrambled letters. This instance kept happening as I was trying to enter information to complete my purchase. Eventually I was able to complete the purchase online and I received the email that the order was ready for pickup. when I arrived in the store there were two people in the online pickup area helping one young female customer with some hair brushes. I did not know where they pick up area was so I asked and was directed to an area for online pickup. I was standing in line and another customer came up behind me and stood at the counter. All four of the cashier light numbers were on and two of the four cashiers appear to be behind one number assisting the girl with the hair brushes. I stood in the line at that point behind the other gentleman waiting for one of the two cashiers to finish and take my turn picking up my item. The cashier promptly walked over to the another lane and took another gentleman who had come up several minutes after I did as he as if he was before me. This cashier failed to even ask if I was there to pick up an item or ask anything before she took another customer before me. when I challenged her she start to apologize and said oh what he's here for online pickup. At that point, I called her out and said I'm here for the same thing I've been standing here and you all have four lights on and one two cashiers at the number four cashier counter which is the line that I was standing in waiting for assistance....
