just came in with my boyfriend and little brother 4:45 pm, July 9th 2025 looking for a fishing rod, and right when we come in, we don’t get greeted which isn’t too big of a deal for me, but what threw us off was when we got to the fishing aisle it was empty and we had known which rod we wanted so we were looking at it and just browsing for baits and stuff, and then one employee walks past us and finds an empty box of some product and radios it and he is looking at us. Not a minute later, another employee comes into the fishing aisle and keeps staring at us and keeps walking past us always looking and my boyfriend and i noticed it and started feeling uncomfortable. I didn’t get to get any of the employees names, the first one was some skinny lil brown boy, and the one that kept staring, was some tan asian guy with glasses looking zesty. he later comes back and grabs some cooler right infront of us and kept looking at what we were doing. After he grabs it and leaves another one spawns in, some fat tall hispanic looking guy, started lingering around, and then in an unwelcoming more like confronting tone asked if we needed help my boyfriend said no and he just stayed in the area and kept looking around at us, then walked away to other customers and in a welcoming tone greeted them. That’s what personally set me off because okay yeah assume we stole something but don’t be talking all rude and mind you whole time all this was going on my boyfriend and i kept side eyeing eachother cus we both noticed they’re literally assuming we stole something when we didn’t. He wore them only once — during a training session and quickly began experiencing severe pain in his toes. When he tried them on at home, everything seemed fine, but the issue became clear only during real athletic use. We brought the shoes back the next day, clean and in excellent condition, and explained the situation in full detail. We weren’t just asking for a refund — we wanted to exchange them for a better-fitting pair and were prepared to spend more. Unfortunately, the store manager, Bryant, flatly refused to help. He cited store policy without making any effort to understand the situation or offer an alternative. It was frustrating and disappointing to be treated with such indifference, especially when we came in calmly, respectfully, and with a reasonable request. Read moreI went here today with my kids just browsing around and seeing the summer sales. We found a lifejacket that was 50% off and some water socks. So I was a bit surprised when we went to the front check out and it rang up full price. The man helping us was named Matthew. He gave the worst customer service I have ever seen. He refused to do a price check just said no he knew he was right. Regardless if someone is asking for a price check it's their job to see it through. Then the water socks were ringing up full price so knowing that the would not helped me I walk to the other side of the store to find another employee and showed them that it was labeled 50% not ringing up that way. She told the front and they fixed it but then as we're leaving my family was telling me how they were mocking me and saying horrible things in front of them and other customers.
