Original review is below im adding an update: Gill called me and offered a discount due to my review. I decliced the offer stating that I appreciated the offer but was not longer interested. Gill then asked for me to update my review to a 5 star review since he tried to fix the sitation for me. Basically bribbed me for a 5 star review. Due to this my review is now a 1 star.

I was recommened a toosh cush from this store by my chiropractor. When I first went into the store I was greatly by a friendly store manager who took his time to show me items and discuss different things that could potentially help me out. He took him time and made me feel heard and listened to. He was not pushy at all, but of course as a salesman, would suggest things to purchase and express his opinions on how amazing the items were.

The reason for the 3 star review is because I purchased my toosh cush the day I went in. The following week I called the store asking if they had another toosh cush in stock. I was told yes and one was on hold for me to come in that day. When I arrived to purchase said toosh cush I was told that he made a mistake and the toosh cush I had asked for was not in stock and would be in stock in 2 weeks. I left my name a call back number and was told I would be contacted when it arrived.

Now fast forward 3-4 weeks and I have not been contacted. I called and left a voicemail explaining the situation and asking for a call back to purchase the toosh cush. They called back stating the toosh cush would be in stock next week.

Now fast forward another week and I have not heard back. Their communication outside of the store level in person is terrible, I am very unpleased with the lack of communication regarding this. And this is the reason I am leaving a 3...

Last spring, I developed a serious pain in my back and my right leg. It hurt when I sat, when I stood, when I walked, and sometimes even when I was lying down.

My husband took me to this store to see if we could find anything that would give me relief. I first tried a zero gravity chair that seemed like magic - the pain went away instantly. I was so excited that I told my husband it didn't matter what it cost, we needed to take that chair home - "TODAY"! The person that helped us called his boss to explain the situation, and his boss (Gil) said he would deliver the floor model if we wanted it. We did; and amazingly, that same afternoon, Gil personally delivered the chair and taught me how to use it.

I was extremely grateful; but the pain came back and when I went to the doctor, I found out that I actually had arthritis and the immediate relief I got in the store with the Zero Gravity chair did not repeat. Consequently, I asked Gil to take the chair back which he did. He was extraordinarily gracious, never making me feel embarrassed about having exercised him so much and then needing to return the chair.

Since I was still suffering with back and leg pains, I later went back to the store and Gil suggested that I try something else - a leather office chair made of memory foam - with the same free trial period that they gave us with the Zero Gravity Chair. The office chair was made-to-order so we needed to wait for it; but ever since it arrived (and Gil delivered, set it up and taught me how to use it - again!), I have had no pain whatsoever, even while working all day at the computer.

Now entering my 80's and my wife in her 70's, we are having our share of aches and pains. So we decided to look into some zero gravity chairs and decided we liked the ones by Novus. As I was calling around to comparison shop, I discovered this store and spoke with Gil Gurmukh. Gil was extremely helpful, patient and kind from the onset. He worked around our schedule since we were driving up from the Bay Area and offered us extremely competitive pricing. We were so impressed with the selection of quality ergonomic furniture that we also ended up ordering a reclining sofa set by Stressless. Gil was so conscientious about keeping things within our budget and took his time researching current retailer promotions while building the right set for our needs. He took the time and care to consider if we would want a deeper seat cushion or higher head rest, and what would be more comfortable and convenient for us as seniors as well as guests we regularly entertain. He really walked us through and educated us on options we had not even considered. In a day and age when many people take advantage of seniors and their lack of familiarity with technology and newer products, we felt so blessed to come across Gil and The Ultimate Back Store. We never felt rushed or pressured. Although Gil was our main sales contact, we also worked with David and he was incredibly helpful as well. Gil and David are a great team- they support each other so as a customer you don't feel this underlying sense of tension between associates as you find in some other retail stores.
