Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Folsom

I tried this location for the first time and while I can say that it is definitely good, it just reminds me of a slightly higher end version of a Jack in the Box. It definitely isn't amazing by any stretch but it isn't terrible and I wouldn't mind going here. I find myself jumping back and forth between 3 stars and 4 stars.

The media attention they get and their problem with seemingly not being able to stay out of it, is neither here nor there for me when I try a location's food.

The employees are always very friendly, and they take your orders while you are waiting in line to make sure everything gets in and so you don't have to yell into a speaker. Each employee also has a small menu that they can hand you to read over while you wait or if you need to decide.

They have very many dipping sauces and containers are made so that their cross-cut fries fit better. The milkshakes are also pretty good and fall just a tad short of being something you would expect from a sitdown restaurant.

The chicken burgers are the main appeal of this fast food restaurant and are some of the juiciest chicken patties I have had in my life, and are very tasty to boot. They have quite a few options for how the chicken is done and I haven't been disappointed with the ones I have tried so far.

For starters they just started using antibiotic chicken. No linger can they advertise free from…. Perhaps one reason they can give 21. Per hour now. Twice I was told to go to pull off to side in drive through. The last time I had to ask after waiting 15 minutes and numerous cars came and gone after us. All I ordered was the strips and cups of ice cream. When I went inside finally the guy was coming out. I asked politely what was the reason and he apologized and said they were waiting for the strips. (Apparently everyone orders the sandwich and I was the only one ordering the strips) oh and they forgot my ice cream for the 2nd time. Happened to me in the AM when I ordered breakfast- told me to pull around to front. Ofcourse at a time I was in a hurry lol. I guess they have a time limit on how fast they serve the cars so they push us on through so the computer sees a different time. Hmm wouldn’t this be cheating ? My main reason for the 2 score is the antibiotic chicken. They got a bunch of people hooked and now downgrade. The Manager is the most racist person ever, targeting me and my girlfriend Friday night after getting our food, instead of eating inside because they were about to close, we felt like they wanted to go home and not wait on us to finish so we went out and ATE IN OUR CAR INSTEAD. Well 10 min later we had about 5-6 cop cars come light us up saying the manager called them saying we looked suspicious and said a bunch more we are NOT gonna say. But we found this extremely disrespectful, the next day we called to speak to the manager "James" AKA Hospitality Director and asked him why he found us suspicious and called the police on us, HE laughed at us over the phone and said we were lying the entire time and just cussed us out and just hung up on us. I thought a manager was to handle situations and customer service? So with that being said we are no longer going to chick-fil-a ever again and we have told a bunch of our friend and family members of this issue and they will never go to this restaurant ever again. we are gonna call the corporate and let them know about this issue when we never did anything.
