Attention Residents & Non Residents take your business elsewhere, this center not only went up on their public recreational pool prices ($7)! BUT, they ALSO reduced their hours!! How are they going to reduce their hours and keep the same high prices! What a rip off! They use to be open through out the week and weekends, but then they changed it to only weekends, but guess what? They not only charge higher prices, but now, as of 5/14/22, you get to only swim for 4 HOURS! 4 HOURS! But wait, by the time you get to the window to pay, you've already waited an hour just to get in (because they only have two windows open to pay!), so technically, you only have 3 hours of swim time. It use to be open from 12pm-5pm, now they are only open from 12pm-4pm on Sat & Sun. And guess how my family and I found out (along with everyone else)? We found out as we were in the pool last Saturday when all of a sudden, they blew the whistle and told everyone to get out of the pool because they were closed! Totally catching everyone off guard...absolutely disgusting. The Fontana Park Aquatic Center does not value their guests at all, they only value your money. Why would they be open for only four hours, when the day light hours are longer now? At least be open until 5 or 6pm. And why not even offer recreational public night swim? How cool would that be? Anyhow, life has shown that greed never wins in the end and when a business doesn't value or consider their customers, that business will lose profit in the end. It's that simple. In addition, pay attention to all the reviews written. There are no recent good reviews. They are all dated years ago (1 or more years). Why? because back then they use to be a wonderful facility, but now, they've allowed Greed to get the best of them and leaving patrons not getting their monies...

No one’s paying attention to the kids

Today was our first day of swim lessons. We came from another venue because her level wasn’t available.

The kids are hanging on to the wall for 30 minutes. The ages and heights vary. My daughter is too short to stand comfortably in 4’6” of water.

While my daughter is waiting for her turn, she’s practicing floating. All was well until she got too far from the wall. She can’t stand up and couldn’t make her way back to the wall.

No one’s paying attention. I literally get up from the stands, headed towards the pool, yelling for them to help my daughter.

The nearest lifeguard guard was in lala land.

The teacher was with another student. Another life guard noticed and was SLOWLY coming from the other side.

By the time he made it over, I was already there yelling and the teacher reached out to grab her and pull her to the wall.

A whistle should’ve blown or some indication that a child was in distress.

My child is fine. I spoke to her about the need to hold on to the wall, the water is deep and lack of anyone paying attention.

No one said anything to me. Everything just continued as if my daughter was never in...

This is all about the management at the pool. The manager who is tall and thin is policing the place. Very unfriendly and knows the least about management of people especially children. His interactions with me and my child were absolutely deplorable and unacceptable. Supposedly he manages the lifeguards yet and still none of them had information regarding expectations and rules. He blamed myself and my child for not knowing the rules while his lifeguards were telling me the complete opposite of his expectations. When I began to get out of the pool after him reprimanding me he said and I quote "I'm not done talking." Of course I was absolutely done listening to someone harass me. I'm trying to watch my 3-year-old, causing no issues to anyone other than himself who thought he was King...

I like it and hate it at the same time my 8 year old was $5 and my 14 year old was the same price as adults $7 so i spent $27 just to get in sure. The place looked really nice but the rules... so many rules about anything and everything, I made sure to view the website before coming here just so I could make sure I had no problems. Even though in the rules it says no t-shirts and jerseys I would have thought that swimming shirts would have been fine but mine did not pass the test here even though it was a swimming shirt and 100% polyester it did not matter just lots of little BS rules like that but just made the experience meh... towards the end of our experience here that's when it became super packed in the pools were just did not even seem fun anymore

I hate putting 5 stars because I like how small the crowds are however, they definitely deserve 5 stars. There's a big water park slide, there's a splash pad and the kids just have a great time, there are two pools. The instructors are just amazing. My daughter started at level 2 and is now level 4 in just a month. She's side breathing, freestyle-ing, backstroke-ing, floating... she couldn't do that before. Thank you to the staff for a job well done!

Our family went here back in 2018 for a private birthday party! We had the whole place to ourselves! Jumping off diving boards. Having races to see who could touch the bottom of the pool first! The slides were so fun!! It was so clean, not too many people, not crowded. I absolutely loved watching the girls run through the wet playground area screaming and laughing as they went through. It was a great day with Family! I would go there again.
