Son is currently taking karate lessons here he was still a white belt but he is having fun. The instructors are two men call sensei's they are knowledgeable and very respectful. We've been coming here for about a month-and-a-half. He's been doing very well. There is a snack bar which consists of like granola bars water sometimes Gatorade Starbucks canned goods. May I just say hello wonderfully priced everything is. When I go to any other snackbar like at Jack bulik or Bill Martin Park at usually cost a dollar to get a bottle of water here water is only twenty-five cents. Gatorade cost seventy-five cents for the big one!!! I know dude that so awesome 😎 they also do a lot of other activities here like for folklórico mexican dancing, tumbling, yoga and many other classes. The Jessie Turner is a place where you can come and enjoy a sit-down while your child is learning a sport. When you walk in there are very loungy couches. Then you walk to your designated area and take your child to their class. The restrooms are impeccable very clean. They also have an exercise area with lots exercise equipment. They also hold basketball classes. For young n old. They have a computer room, we're we have printed items. Only thing is you have to buy the paper, you could do research write a paper whatever you need to do on those computers you also have to give them like an ID or your car keys so that they can give you a mouse. Long story, short. This place had always been amazing, as far as the COVID testing, park, & courteous staff; until I encountered an issue renting the banquet room. We had a set date, processed the application & got approved & set an appointment to close the booking & take our deposit. The day of our appointment they mentioned they had a miscommunication with the date & they no longer had it available. We had repeated the date several times. Had the right date written down & they did not bother letting us know earlier. This was more than a miscommunication, & not to mention the coordinator did not even speak to us, they send an assistant to assist us. They did not deal with their huge ’miscommunication’. Loved coming to the hockey rink, ever since I was a kid but has had very poor service as of lately. Not sure if it's due to the adult league and their game schedule but the staff is NOT consistent with their scheduling for the rink being open to the public.

My friends and I call to make sure they are open days and hours in advance before making our long trips to the only rink in a thirty mile radius from us, only to show up and find out that no one will be there even though we receive confirmation that there will be. This is very annoying as it happens often and the rink is only open once a week.

I really hope they establish some sort of a consistent schedule and stick to it. Very disappointing to us hockey players...
