Quilters always love to check out new shops and usually the sewing community is warm and welcoming. How disappointing to find that isnât the case at this off the beaten path shop. I came in about :30 minutes after they opened, the cashier busy chatting up a regular about her son moving back home and buying used cars. She never acknowledged me, even when the other patron left. Not a âlet me know if I can answer any questionsâ or âcan I help you find anything in particularâ. After :30 minutes of strolling the store, I tapped on the open office door of what was perhaps the owner (Paula) and said âExcuse me, I just have a quick question about this thread?â No answer. One more tap, âPardon me?â She never turned around, so I put my items back where I found them and left.

She and the other gal that was working were both helpful and shared their knowledge with how to pick different colors and what they had in the store. Wish we could give them 10 stars because they went above and beyond all our...

They had chosen a delightful cross section of patterns and designers that would please a variety of Quilters. We hope to be able to come to a class and spend...
