Café One-Fort Bragg, CA. In my opinion, Café One has the best breakfast menu and food in Fort Bragg. Their menu has your everyday eggs, bacon, and fried potatoes, but they offer so much more. Locals go to this place when looking for a healthy, filling breakfast. Vegetarian breakfast options are available. Delicious turkey bacon. A spectacular Breakfast Burrito with a homemade flour tortilla, eggs, potatoes, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, sour cream, and avocado—simply fabulous. Scrumptious omelets with fresh veggies, and your favorite cheese. You can choose potatoes, grains, beans, or my favorite, polenta. Vegetarian breakfast of Shiitake Mushroom Hash might be your style. Whole grain pancakes with real maple syrup and butter. How about the Aloha Waffle with macadamia nuts, coconut, homemade mango pineapple sauce, and whipped cream? Café One salads are my favorite for lunch. The Café 1 Vegetable salad is enormous, as are all their salads: Prawn Salad, warm Rosie Chicken Salad, Caesar salad, and Greek Salad. The restaurant also offers a tremendous variety of sandwiches. If you're craving a taste of Mexico, try the large selection of authentic quesadillas. The prawn quesadilla is a local favorite. The desserts are excellent and come from the owner's kitchen. The menu changes daily. Be sure to check the chalkboard when you enter for specials and the desserts of the day. Enjoy!

Reconnected with a friend this morning who took me to breakfast. I asked for CafeOne as I hadn’t been there in a minute and was excited to review. This Northside gem has a relaxed down home feel almost as if your grandmother was cooking. It’s bright and the tables are far enough apart for you to have a conversation and there is some great local art on the wall. We were promptly greeted and given a green light to pick an empty table. They make an amazing Dirty Chai, hot and full of flavor. The breakfast burrito is giant even without meat and almost big enough for two. I chose the mushroom hash with a poached egg and couldn’t be happier. The flavor of it was surprising as the mix melted in your mouth, I will get it again. This organic establishment should be on your rotation for breakfast choices if you are a local and one to compete with any of the more well known spots in Fort Bragg.

Cafe One is a cute restaurant in Fort Bragg, with hearty meals like pancakes, eggs, and burritos. We stopped by here on the way to the skunk train, and found that the ambience is very nice. They were also selling their homemade jams, which we loved, and mexican outfits. The store definitely gave us good vibes. The service was very nice. As the restaurant is family owned since 2006, the people were very kindhearted and welcoming. And last, the food. Everything is organic, from the eggs to the veggies, which was one of the main reasons we stopped by. Also, most items can be made vegan if you would prefer that. We ordered the breakfast burrito, mushroom omelette, and buttered bagles. Breakfast burrito was top notch, having cheese, eggs, mushrooms, and more. But, the rest was just mediocre. Overall, this is an average restaurant. Tip: They only take cash or debit. No credit cards
