10/29/24 visited at 10:50am. 1 customer in store and 1 employee who claimed to also be a manager. We will never set foot in this store again and you should not as well!
I was helped in a somewhat prompt manner, but the male manager went back to the first customer, who obviously was waiting for somebody else to show up, as was I. My wife came in and we were starting to do our purchase transaction. She asked if she could use the bathroom. He said no, we do not have a bathroom. Both of us stated who have visited the store at least four times or more, that there is a bathroom, and we have used the bathroom before. He said the bathroom is closed due to “ Health Reasons”. We asked what health reasons? Is it dirty or is the toilet clogged? He said “no, nobody is allowed to use the bathroom”. You must go over to Jimmy John’s to use their bathroom. We asked do you have to go over to use Jimmy John’s bathrooms as well as an employee? He said no, we just don’t let anyone in our bathroom. My wife went out the door and Jimmy John’s is in the next complex over, having to go through two parking lots. She came back in and said listen can I please just use your bathroom, and he still refused. We decided to leave, and go to a real AT&T corporate center store on JFK… and that one does share a bathroom with Jimmy John’s as well but at least it’s the next door over. The JFK store does let people use their bathrooms when Jimmy John’s is closed.
Sidenote, I heard this same employee talking to the other customer in the store prior to my wife coming in. He kept going on and on about an E. coli outbreak in Colorado and that he was worried that he was going to get it. He also mentioned how he just bought a pack of oranges at the grocery store, and somebody told him that the oranges probably had E. coli. I find it very ironic that the bathroom is closed due to “health reasons”…and wasn’t this employee just making up his own mind and being a germophobe.
Now the discriminatory comment. Since my wife and I drove separately, she left first. I packed up the phone in the box that we had brought in, he then said to me, as we were some kind of “bro’s” or something of a “man code”….”I’m really sorry man”. Clearly, he was insinuating this was a male/female thing. Not ok.
I have read some of the other reviews as well and have also experienced driving to this store during business hours with the doors being locked an employee standing outside saying “yeah, somebody forgot the key so we can’t get in.”
Clearly this is a poorly ran store with employees making up their own rules….enter at your own risk here. I’d advise take the extra 5 minutes and drive west to the store on JFK, where you’re treated fairly, and they are very...
Read moreThe store had 5 people being serviced/waiting and and the service rep "warned me they were busy". I waited about 5 minutes before being helped. Once I was being helped the servive rep was talking so fast, I had to ask him to slow down in which he became rude. Then he explained my choices were to upgrade or try to warranty. I chose warrantly. So he gave me a number and said he would then help another. This interaction took less then 5 minutes. He gave me the wrong number and huffed when I told him the number he gave me went to a medical assist call line. The manager who came over was young and treated me with the same rushed attitude. When I asked him to go over the same choices( because the last rep was rushing and talking so fast it was hard for me to understand) he casually flung out " 36 month device turn-in rebate or call our 3rd party warranty" he rolled his eyes and then left.
Believe the reps at this site should really slow down.
I don't care for a new phone. Just one that works. Because I have been paying for a warranty I will be trying that avenue ( and because it is not att i will be directly working with) But if I do have to upgrade( because it is a new cell tower issue) I will not be staying with ATT. Their customer service has really been decreasing in the last year ( at least in Fort Collins). I have been with ATT since 2013.
Idk, perhaps 29 is the age where I turned old and grouchy and I need a 16 year old to slowly explain new...
Read moreWorst experience I have EVER had trying to get a new phone and establish service. I was told incorrect information regarding the trade in value of an iPhone 11, the trade in value is the entire reason I found an upgrade to be worthwhile. I asked not to have insurance or early upgrade added to my service and when I got my astronomical bill, all of the services I asked to have removed were still on there. And now they can’t be removed until the next billing cycle. I expected my bill to be around 80 dollars a month to find it was going to be over 100 dollars a month. I was also given a phone with 128GB of storage and by the time I got home, it was over halfway full. Which meant to even trade it in, would be another 55 dollars. When I returned to the store to discuss this mess, there was a handwritten sign on the door stating they would not be staffed until 3:30 pm. I got there at 1:30. The only saving grace was Kevin’s assistance. Unless you’re going to work with Kevin, stay...
