Large order and just trying to return 3 of the boxes. Over 5 days I've spent 3 hours on the phone holding or messaging with these amateur e-commerce ding-a-lings. ;)
If you buy online know that if you do a return only do one return at a time, per box. Otherwise you will fall into this never ending cycle of non-solutions. They run down the wrong path several times just in the one conversation.

My wife and I tried to purchase a dining room table and six chairs on a Friday night. The store manager didn't have all the chairs we needed and called a store in Thornton to reserve them.
On Saturday morning my wife and I made the trip to Thornton only to find out they never received any phone call - luckily they had the chairs. When my wife and I arrived in Fort Collins to pick up our table - the manager informed us that she could not sell us the table - something about a recall she'd received overnight. We got a raincheck and were told to check back in a month.
A month later I returned to the Fort Collins store and inquired about the table during my lunch hour. I was informed that my table was not in stock and that the table we were looking for had already been purchased by another customer who had a raincheck. Disgusted I returned home, loaded up the six chairs I purchased a month earlier and was determined to get my money back.
That's when we talked to Heath - the "furniture guy' whom we spoke to when inquiring about another table, informed us that the table we originally wanted was in stock. Turns out that it had been in stock - and that management had not gotten around to calling us to tell us our table was in.
The incompetence of management in this store is unbelievable. We would have given World Market one star had it not been for Heath - who was incredibly helpful. We'd also like to thank the cashier who unknowingly gave us a 60% discount. We walked away with a $700 table for $250.
You shouldn't expect this location to do anything more than sell product...
Read moreI cant believe I am giving world market two stars. I love world market its one of my favorite stores. Idk if its this location or if its all of them. Im basing my review off 3 separate interactions. Staff is always unhelpful and snobby. They are stingy with their coupons. They send them but then put all kinds of stipulations on them so they are virtually unusable with no exceptions. Every visit. And lastly I brought my child in to shop for me for mothers day and they didnt apply the coupon. Which would have been like $30 savings so I asked if they could just fix it. It ended up being a return and a re-ring situation to get the coupon applied. I never recieved the return for $123. I called the store 2 weeks later. They said I had to come in to fix it even though it was a long drive for me. Prob hoping I would forget about it. Almost did. A month later I remenbered randomly. I called and talked to another manager who made me send everything but my first born child. Thankfully by miracle I still had the reciepts. He called the next day saying "they did refund my money and no action would be taken". I stated I would be happy to bring my bank statement in and he could see that it was not refunded ever. And he said they wouldnt accept it. He said it could be pending or processing. I know the difference between a pending and hard posted charge and especially after this long. Well I guess Ill have to dispute it with my bank. I wont be shopping here again. Too bad. Not worth the hassel at all. Etsy is...
