Edit: they were incredibly nice in the store and helped me exchange the cookie jar. I do wish there was a voicemail still but very happy with how nice and helpful the employees were!
Went in last night to get Easter decor to surprise my mom while sheās away for work. We got some adorable stuff and all of it was in great condition (which considering most things look hand painted and fragile, I was very happy. I know how easy things can chip just from customers picking them up and placing them back down). We had a great experience with the young lady who checked us out, she was blonde and very sweet and funny.
I would give 5 stars just from that, however, upon cleaning and setting up the decor today, I realized there was some strong tape used to hold the cute cookie jar we got together (pictured). I was trying to be very careful removing it as the paint is so fragile on things like this. I was successful on one side, but the other side immediately ripped a large chunk of paint off. This happens, so I called trying to get in touch with someone to see if I can switch this one out before my mom gets home tonight. Even though google shows itās not busy, no one picked up and there is no voicemail option. I called two more times and still no one picked up.
Im pretty frustrated as I live in Wellington, about 25 minutes away. I have to drive in not knowing if Iāll be able to switch this one out. I hope to have a better experience when I head into town and look forward to possibly adding more stars because every time I go in, Iām greeted with very kind people. But Iām disappointed that thereās an option to call but no one answers and thereās no option for voicemail. I work customer service, I get that even when itās not busy, workers may be swamped with stocking and all that jazz. I even understand that sometimes it sucks to answer the phone. But no...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFrequented the store today, one register open 6 people in line meanwhile employee right in front of us by the registers stocking pillows. This employee (older woman white hair) didn't even bother to acknowledge that there is a long line and one register open. Perhaps just say "really sorry we're short staff today thank you so much for your patience and we'll be with you as soon as possible." That goes a long way in situations like that. Someone finally asked if they had no other cashiers, the person said nope and proceeded to get on the Intercom and say "back up cashier to the front". Amazing that once someone came up from the back the line was down within 3 minutes. I think they have great deals, 5 stars for that. I've never had such bad customer service as I did today in the home goods in Fort Collins on college. I would give it half a...

If you have a delivery with an empty to swap I highly recommend showing up after 6:00pm as the business next to dock is closed giving you room for your backing without worry of cars. Also you can borrow the dock nearby to move empty into while you drop loaded trailer. My method (check photo) was to come from John F Kennedy and stage loaded trailer in street, move empty to other dock, then hook up to loaded pull past dock entrance and 90 back into dock area, leave room to open trailer doors and get receiving to cut lock. Simply hug against the dumpster next to dock and you will have plenty of room to maneuver to dock. I did this in the dark in snow without spotter. The cars that did show up in street during back were patient and...
