Good afternoon, I would like to take a moment to make you aware of an experience we had at your location in Fort Collins Colorado on 12/7/2024. We entered your location at around 6:10pm and waited at the host stand. About 5 minutes later we were greeted and told they had to clean a table, and it would be just a moment. About 10 minutes later the host came back and finally seated us. The location was busy due to two college football games, NHL, NBA, and the UFC fights. A typically busy night for a sports bar, a good thing right, not for your location. Around 6:35pm we placed our order, the $19.99 special you are advertising. As we waited for our food to be delivered, we noticed that food was being brought to tables one serving at time, not the whole table at once. We found this to be odd, but things seemed to be moving. Around 7:05pm my burger was delivered but not my wife’s boneless wings, so we continued to wait. As we were waiting, we noticed the same issue happening at the table next to us, the gentleman’s food was delivered first, then 15 minutes later, the daughters. The mother was obviously frustrated. Finally, around 7:35pm we got the attention of our server. After the server talked to the mother about the lack of her order, we spoke to her about my wife’s order. She said she would talk to the manager and figure out what was going on. At that point I said I wanted to talk to the manager. While we were waiting for her, we noticed that she was more concerned with getting TV’s channels changed than the issue going on with the lack of food service for paying customers. The manager finally came to our table at about 7:45pm and introduced herself as Lisa. I asked her if she was aware of what was going on in her restaurant and if the delivery of food to tables by individual instead of the whole table at once was standard procedure. Lisa stated that this was BWW’s “policy” to ensure hot food was delivered. I then asked her if she thought it was okay for one person to have their food but 45 minutes later the other person at the table was not having theirs. Lisa stated it was a busy night with UFC, college football, etc. I told Lisa that in my opinion this was the worst service I have ever experienced in a restaurant and that she was focusing on issues that were not important and ignoring the fact that her kitchen cannot deliver food that was ordered in a timely manner. I then asked her if she expected us to pay for this. Lisa replied “Sir, I have been managing restaurants for over 20 years and you are the worst customer I have ever had, and I would like you to leave.” As we were leaving, we spoke to the table next to us and they were shocked by what Lisa said to me, and they too would be asking not to pay. A third table with two young ladies at it experienced the same type of service. One of the young ladies had their food and the other had been waiting over 30 minutes. This location has three tables in a 1-hour period that were so disgusted with the service that they don’t think they should pay for it and leave. In my opinion Lisa is a complete detriment to your brand. BWW is a sports bar and should be embracing nights like last night when it is busy. Instead, Lisa makes excuses for horrific service and costs your brand and servers money. This will be the last time we visit a BWW because of Lisa and I would not be surprised if many others...
Read moreI honestly don’t know what the deal is with BWW. 9 out of 10 times the service is horrendous. And you’d think it’s just one location, no. Aurora, Greeley and Fort Collins Colorado all have a consistency and quality issue. In Greeley they have paid for my wings more than once because they can’t get it right and or on time. I don’t mind paying because it’s a result I’m looking for. So making them free is not the best result, it’s getting the order right and on time and me paying for them is what I prefer. In Aurora i overheard one waitress complaining because another waitress was telling people how long the wait was going to be and people decided to leave instead of staying and waiting. She was setting expectations and another waitress was upset about it. Wow. I literally just walked out of the Fort Collins location, 7/21 at 5:30pm mountain time. I sat at the bar. Young kid with long curly hair helped me. All I could fantasize about was fried pickles from BWW, beer and wings. I got the pickles and some pickles were breaded, others weren’t. There were just pieces of fried bread in the basket with no pickle inside, they just looked bad. You don’t bring that mess to a table. You just don’t. So because people are licking ice cream and putting back on the shelves these days, I elect to wait for my wings before I complain about the pickles. They came and I said to the bartender “these pickles don’t look good man, some random gobs of bread and pickles with no breading... they look like something traumatic happened to them” ... he chuckles, takes them and doesn’t offer to have them remade, no apology... nothing. To me that says that poor quality is something the staff is use to. If it wasn’t, he would have been in shock or bothered on my behalf. It’s standard if you send something back due to quality that a manager comes by. It should be anyway. No manager visit and this place had like 3 tables in the bar. Super dead. Anyway I’m sipping on my beer and i can’t help it notice that it’s kind of flat. It’s bubbling but it tastes watery. I watch the bartender pour a beer and i realize why, he’s not pouring out of the tap, he’s pouring out of a pitcher he used to collect what shoots out of the keg when you first tap it which is why it tastes flat. I don’t drink it and I don’t say anything because at this point I’m eating at a joke of a restaurant. I ask for water to wash this taste down. The bartender doesn’t pour my water at the bar. He goes to an enclosed drink station. I’m thinking “how can he possibly screw this up, I can see him, there’s no way to mess this up.” I’m watching him pour my water and all the sudden he disappears behind this wall with my water, steps back into my sight but the water doesn’t have a napkin, a straw or anything that necessitated being out of sight. Now maybe there’s a register there and he had to ring something up. I’ll give him that benefit of the doubt because there’s no way of knowing but that’s all I’m able to give. Just blows me away how awful this place is. Also I could swear there’s a sign in the back that says “Reminder: wings are like steaks, not everybody likes them cooked all the way!” I’m just shocked on how you can send something back and nobody asks a question. Not one. If you like horrible quality food at top dollar prices, go...
Read moreI used to love Buffalo Wild Wings. When I was in the military, we went to B-Dubs all the time, and it was a staple for great wings and good times. Unfortunately, my recent experience has completely changed my opinion of the brand.
First off, this was the smallest Buffalo Wild Wings location I’ve ever been to—easily half the size of any other I’ve visited. It was busy, which I expected, but the service was incredibly slow. It took 20 minutes just to have a waitress take our drink order, and even identifying who worked there was a challenge since none of the servers wore uniforms or anything that made it clear they were staff.
When we finally placed our drink order, I asked for a Bloody Mary, only to be told they were out of the ingredients to make one. Honestly, based on the rest of the experience, I can’t imagine it would have been good anyway, so maybe that was for the best. I settled for a ginger beer soda, which was served as an unopened can without a glass, ice, or straw. I had to go to the bartender myself to get those items.
The waitress, though polite, was clearly not well-trained—something I blame on management. When we ordered food, it was shocking to see how much the prices had increased. I remember when wings were 75 cents each, but now the prices have doubled. Despite paying premium prices, the service did not reflect it.
We received our food with no napkins, silverware, or wet naps. Even after asking for napkins and silverware, wet naps were never brought. The real issue, however, came when my wife discovered two hairs in her chicken and a piece with feathers still attached. It was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. Please see the attached pictures for reference.
Additionally, the lack of a host at the entrance meant people were walking in and waiting 5-10 minutes just to be seated because no one was there to greet them.
I can’t help but feel that the decline in service and standards is unacceptable, especially given the rising prices. It’s frustrating to see people expect 25% tips for service this poor. Management needs to seriously step up, train their staff better, and prioritize cleanliness and customer service.
This experience has turned me off B-Dubs entirely. I will make sure to share this story with others and encourage them to choose a different restaurant. Buffalo Wild Wings used to be a favorite, but after this visit, it’s clear they’ve lost their touch. The pictures I’ve...
