Time is money⦠or in my case time is study.
Oct. 9th at around 6:50 pm I found myself waiting nearly 15 min with only one person in front of me not even at the window because it is clear that they would rather chit chat with friends rather than serve coffee.
I canāt blame the staff entirely, there are some extremely talkative people especially in colorful colorado, however, the blatant disregard for my time and thus my money didnāt go unnoticed. It took me pulling off for the person in front of me to finally move and the woman taking orders from that car to even seemingly notice my existence.
With my vet school midterms coming up, I canāt help but see this is as a huge waste of time, but I needed my coffee so I headed across town away from the hospital and my home to get a good coffee and even quicker service from the other Dutch bros.
The extra star is because while my stays have been lengthy before, the staff is always very nice. I have respect for those in customer service because I could never do it again, however, the art of ending a conversation and acknowledging ALL of your customer base is EXTREMELY important even when do friends etc. do pop up.
There is however a happy ending to this, I got my shark attack rebel in less than 5 min at the other location with incredible service...
Read moreI drink Dutch Brothers every morning, I have for years now⦠But I may not ever go go to this particular location again. Of course, Dutch Brothers popular is usually a line all the way to the end of the parking lot. On days like this, I tend to walk up to the window. On this particular day, Myself and two other customers waited for nearly 10 minutes while the staff inside chatted along talking about what they were gonna do after work, Not even paying attention to the Customers standing at the window.
One of the customers was simply waiting for a mobile order that they had picked up. But no one even batted an eye at us. Furthermore, They had three reps outside, taking drive thru orders.
It got to the point that I literally stuck my head in the window and said you guys need to learn to not ignore your customers who were standing at your window. The response I got was āwhat happened?ā At which point I left.
I donāt think the my time is more Valuable than any of the other customers, But that sort of indifference and lack of concern for people standing right in front of you who are paying customers, It shows a lack of training and an understaffed business.
I will be hard pressed, if I have to use that...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI and my wife get coffee here 2x a day daily, totaling as many as 8 drinks a day. The split line can be frustrating and I often wave the people taking orders over to the other car because they were there first. I have also seen people drive down the empty right lane whether or not the āform 2 linesā sign is up and be served. Today I pulled up, the right side was empty and I pulled up to the next car, slightly behind, so as not to cut. I made eye contact with all 3 people taking orders. It was clear my position was noted. A car came in behind me on the other side. The employee (dark curly hair, bright blue/aqua pullover) made eye contact with me and then proceeded to the car behind me. Iāve worked in the service industry for 30+ years and this may be the most obvious case of contempt-for-customer Iāve ever witnessed, certainly the most obvious one thatās ever been aimed at me. I left without ordering and noted the woman behind me in line also seemed distressed by the employees choice (also poor customer care). I drove to the Loveland location and got my Wifeās coffee there. Itās easy to blow-off a review but, this isnāt the first instance of us feeling that weāre paying a premium +20% and being given...
