Designer's Florist by Sekan — Local services in Fort Scott

This review is from my own personal experience with Designer’s Florists by Sekan. It is not to demean their business or their products. It is simply my review of the service and product I received when purchasing flowers to be delivered to my daughter for her birthday. I chose an arrangement from their website and then called to add a few of my daughters favorite flowers to brighten the arrangement. They did not have some of the additional flowers I’d requested so they took it upon themselves to chose a substitute, which (IMO) did not match the other flowers in the arrangement. When I voiced my disappointment in the flowers they sent a picture of (after they’d delivered it to my daughters work place) vs. what I was expecting to be delivered (based on the website picture). Designer’s Florist by Sekan responded with the following text... “I'm sorry. There were no roses and gerbs in the picture. Spray roses are $4 and gerbs are $5 each. I used the bright Lily which is $7 , 5 daisys/ poms, green, yellow and white, trich $3.50 each, 4 hot pink carnations $2 each, vase and assorted greens. When you mentioned what you wanted in it, I thought we had changed recipes and you wanted it bright. I apologize for not doing it more like the picture. I tried to incorporate what you mentioned and make it bright at the same time. I guess I didn't Look at this as bright. We can pick it up and redo it if that is what you would like”. Yes, they did offer to “pickup and redo” the arrangement however, I felt the offer was disingenuous and would be embarrassing for my daughter to have to return her birthday flowers...
