I am not giving a lower rating than 3 stars because their staff is really nice but TLDR; expect your items to be functional not fixed. this place is nnnnot great. !UPDATED! I just picked up my ipad, it now has no touch sensitivity in the whole top third of the screen making it almost unusable. So again, I dropped off a functional iPad with a cracked screen and a phone for screen protector replacement, Now I have a 1/3rd functional iPad with no touch ID and a phone with LCD dead spots. It has been about a month of working with them now.end of update I went in with 2 cracked but functional items left with two differently broken items I took my (totally functional) iPad here for a screen repair (glass only not LCD) while I was checking in I saw that they had a stock of Glass screen protectors, Mine on my phone had cracked after a couple years of use (phone 100% fine) and so I asked for one to be placed on my phone. Later that week, My phone fell out of my pocket (rip girl pockets) not very far on to the ground and the glass protector was immediately obliterated and so was my LCD. I figured this wasn't a huge deal I would just drop that off to get fixed when I picked up my iPad. So I picked up my iPad and dropped off my phone, got home, opened my iPad up, and realized the glass was not seated in the iPad itself, there was quite a gap between the metal body and glass screen in addition, the home button was loose. So i figured, No problem, I have to pick up my phone anyways, picked up the phone and dropped off the iPad. Got home and there is a white spot the size of my pinky on my new LCD, and the touch sensitivity is way less sensitive. Again, I figured, not the end of the world, I have to pick up my iPad anyways, I will just drop off my phone again. So I pick up the ipad, I drop off the Phone, the ipad screen is now connected but the touch ID recognition is now wrecked, Again drop the ipad off pick the phone up, this time they said everything should be fixed for sure and at first I thought it was fine, but after about 10minutes of use the white dot came back and a second one appeared, there is also now a touch sensitive dead zone 80% of the time in the bottom right of the screen which makes texting and accessing the camera from the lock screen challenging. They still have my ipad and just called (a week later) to say that they cannot fix it (even though they admitted they broke it). Its fine, it will still technically be useable but i cant accesses all the log in options any more, I also dont think this time when I pick up my ipad, I will be dropping off my phone, they don't seem to be that great at repairing things all the way, but they will technically make them useable again and thats the most important thing right? The people there are very nice but I would really have liked a refund of the $100+ ipad repair I paid for during which they severed the connection for touch ID, And potentially the future functionality of the button all together. all in all : Would...
Read moreDonât come to this location for repairs unless youâre wanting to get scammed. Brought a drone in after they told me they were excited to check it out over the phone, then explained the situation of what happened to the drone & what I wanted them to look into on the electrical component side. I fly drones professionally & told them upfront that I have all the replacement parts, but wanted a deeper diagnosis on one of the motors and other internal components due to the nature of the crash. Mason, the worst one here, âdiagnosedâ it by looking at it for 2 seconds and not actually looking at any of the internal components I requested. He then had the audacity to try quoting me $300 to replace the propellers, which for those of you not familiar with drones is a super easy thing to do & can be done in under 5 minutes. If I didnât already have propellers (which I have over 10+ replacement pairs), then brand new name brand ones are only $20. The front desk guy was equally confused about the high price quote & agreed with me that it sounded suspicious after voicing my concerns with him.
Anyways, I gave Mason a fair chance to give me a call back & explain why he gave such an absurd quote for a surface level repair along with why he didnât do the diagnosis I requested on the internal components (which was the entire reason I brought the drone in). The front desk guy, I believe his name was Zachary, was trying to be helpful even though he was equally as confused by the ridiculous quote. He left Mason a note to give me a call back and explain everything, but he never did so this is my honest review.
I donât want anyone getting a scammed, so the best thing I can recommend is to find another place. And if you find yourself in the unfortunate situation of being at this place without any other choices, make sure you request that Mason doesnât touch your electronics or do the diagnosis. He doesnât know what heâs doing & will try squeezing every dime out of you without addressing the actual problems you brought your device(s) in for.
The only positive thing I can say about this place is that the front desk guys were friendly. But other than that, the guys in the back have no idea what theyâre doing & only view you as a walking...
Read more*UPDATEDPART TWO UPDATE(6/23) Wife got her screen replaced on her Samsung a while back. They did a solid job at the time of service. Cost was high, but that's not entirely their fault really. Fast forward a few months and my wife's screen suddenly has a white line across it and a black mark in the corner where the LCD is messed up. There is no physical damage, nor heat damage so she takes it up there let's them looks at it and they end up telling her they cant warranty fix it. Even after agreeing that there is no way she could of damaged the screen from the inside without damaging the glass screen protector and screen itself to cause the issue it has. She's had a glass screen protector since day one and there isn't even a scratch on it. Still, they flat refuse to warranty it, again, after agreeing she couldn't possibly of damaged it herself. They offered to replace it for full price even though it technically should be a warranty event. Makes absolutely no sense and is exceptionally frustrating. I have been advising everyone to use these guys, including the new soldiers I work with. Unfortunate series of events.
UPDATE: 6/19 The owner reached out today, taking time out of his day on fathers day and on his day off. The store isn't even open today. He reviewed the information, spoke with my wife and myself about what happened. He explained everything to us better then what was explained prior and then decided to go ahead and schedule us a time this week to replace the screen for my wife which we are extremely grateful for. It was a difficult situation and Mr. Tyler made the choice to take care of his customers instead of leaving us out to dry like many companies do these days. Will update again after service this week.
UPDATE: 6/23
True to Mr. Tyler's word my wife's phone has been repaired. There were a few hiccups but Mr. Tyler made sure everything was handled for us. He isn't messing around when it comes to his business and his customers and we are appreciative. Check them out and see how they...
