Well I’m sad to say yesterday 5/15/23 was my last day coming here! I wanted to be loyal to this nail shop because my nails came out so well the times that I came. So let me start from the beginning the very first time I came I made an appointment for 11am my nails were not started until 12:30 I waited and was polite and the end results were worth it! I came back they could not locate the dip powder used even though I took a pic. Then I came back again and they couldn’t find it ok that’s fine because I loved their work, I was told by the nail tech take a pic and I had to get him together and tell him I took a pic last time and you still couldn’t find it. Now I’m going to speed up to 5/15/23 yesterday I came to them to take my nails off because I wanted a break and to restart them fresh I was going to come back when I had more time keep in mind yesterday was Monday and there were only 3 people me being the 3rd… instead of someone being there to greet there wasn’t so I waited no problem… then when he comes he says someone is doing a pedi and then they can come take off your nails well I waited about 20 minutes when he easily could’ve just started my nails in the acetone process and at least let them soak while I waited but he did not! It was only when I got up to leave that he wanted to start the service. I know this nail tech to get up because during my first visit which was a Saturday he got up several times to help others I even had a lady walk behind me just to tell him she wanted her nails done by him no personal space or boundaries. But I took that in stride but not this time! Then after I finally got my nails soaked off a lady comes from the back and is staring at me like I didn’t belong there…so I'm done ✅ I am no longer going to give my money to places that don’t acknowledge me or treat me with the highest respect just because they do a good job I am a black educated woman and I will be treated as such and...

Visiting Polished Spa Lounge was the WORST nail decision that my friend and I ever made.

For one, the stylists were pushy and snappy--seeming to have an attitude and lack of patience when asked to do a design.

The tech who did my friend's nails couldn't find the correct nail powder (from a completely lazy search effort because I immediately found it) and just gave up--basically telling my friend to pick another color--just rude when customers are paying and are being polite, mature and understanding.

She was very rude to my friend--resorting to walking around yelling in full blown Vietnamese, like we couldn't tell that she was saying rude comments.

My natural nails were just embarrassingly bad. My tech started off my visit by saying that my nails were strong and pretty--by the time she was done, neither was true.

She re-shaped my nails improperly and cut them when I didn't ask for that. She painted one of my fingers in a glitter color--even though I said I wanted two in glitter. Just a whole lot of attitude and unsolicited suggestion from a service provider. I got an overlay over so not much was not fixable after the catastrophe.

Plus, I wanted to get out of there as quick as possible. I will never be back and will never refer them to anyone.

The owner came and tried to do damage control but it was already too late. Two rude techs ruined the entire visit and again, we will NEVER be...

I didn't get the name of the woman who started my nails but she was using equipment with the name Tony on them, so I'm going to assume this was her name. I came in Sunday evening with my friend and we both tried dipped nails for the first time, we had completely opposite experiences. Tony was really sloppy when she applied the nail polish on and left it all over my skin and cuticles. Then she left to finish another woman's nails and had me wait to complete the services. Her husband started to file down my nails and realized how sloppy she was and was pinching and pushing my cuticles back. After that he grinned down all the excess polish and managed to cut 5 fingers in the process, one of them pretty bad and I told him to leave that one alone but he insisted. My fingers are cut up the nails are uneven, misshaped, have bubbles and still very rough. The over all service was very bad but they still charged me full price. I'm a fairly nice person and with several people there I wasn't going to cause a scene. Today my fingers hurt a lot so I called for a refund a young woman said she would call me back after speaking with a manager and after an hour of waiting I called back.
