Westbend — Local services in Fort Worth

Turnover rate seems high. Hopefully some key stores and restaurants will keep em good to go. No one wants to park in the parking garage so parking is a pain, especially if you just want to pop in to one of the stores.

Having a very small overpriced Tom Thumb there was dumb. I loved shopping there for sales, but the selection was stupidly limited and the prices were just wrong.

Good amount of parking with a very nice parking garage. The area is clean and there's a nice selection of small shops (could be more diverse, however; needs improvement). Recently a small Macy's opened and THAT was NICE. Bought some bedding. Unfortunately, due to the Pandemic, there was a FANTASTIC bookstore that was here that went out of business. For me that was THE anchor (at least my main reason for coming, then I'd stick around longer to visit...

Nice area with lovely landscaping and an amazing view of Fort Worth and the Trinity River. I love coming down here to shop! But now that I have a baby and have to carry more and actually have a stroller with me I’ve realized that these shops and this area isn’t as “family” friendly. Hopefully in the near future they’ll make a few adjustments to add more ramps so that I don’t have to struggle to get the stroller on...
