Used to like coming here for the convenience, but Over the past year customer service has just deteriorated. Their policies and store layout make it difficult to want to”run” for anything and their management has zero interest in being friendly to customers. Recently had an experience with one where i was frustrated having to go all the way around bc i “ran in” to get a cart to help me carry things from my car. However, They now place carts in the middle of the store away from the entrance bc they are piling their trash where carts used to go. I was told i had to go all the way around their long register to go back outside. Clearly that would be a bit frustrating for anyone. Well once i got back inside with cart loaded the manager continued to be rude even though i had longed moved past the issue. When i got in line there was no one else even in the store. But at some point her employee had a scanner issue in the middle of helping me (to which i kindly told her it was no big deal when she was getting bery flustered) and the line started piling up. Manager had her employee move to the next register instead of herself taking the second register and then insisted i move my things over bc she moved the employee over. I clearly had my hands full (and had just pit my stuff down in front of first register) and she could have either 1) moved for me or 2) not moved her employee. She would do neither except be snarky with me bc i was in the way. In any case she is definitely not management material if she can treat customers like this just bc the customer got frustrated having to go all the way around with an empty shopping cart only to come right back in. I had been in the hot sun for 7hrs by this point, you have no idea why i was exhausted and really could have used your help taking a shorter route back to the car especially when you clearly saw i had nothing in my cart instead of your rudeness. Only store that i know does this, puts carts all the way inside and makes you go all the way around with them to exit.

Read moreQuestionable management. I'm an ipostal customer who chose this Staples as my business hub. Today I went in to pick up my package as UPS said it had delivered 3 hours ago. I figured that was plenty of time to have my package checked in and if not, they would easily find it because they usually had it sitting out on the counter ready to be checked in. This was not the case today. Still the employees were friendly and eventually the package was discovered. I thought, great, I'll be on my way in no time. What happened instead was I got a young lady who came out to give me a talking to. Letting me know that they have 24 hours to check in any mail for ipostal services and that she had a business to run! Can somebody please remind her that that IS her business and I'm a customer like everyone else? She probably is combative with fellow employees as well as I was told she was the assistant manager. Can you believe this? I spoke with the district manager who resides in that store apparently and she had to remind me that she was listening and not ignoring me. Good lord, that speaks for itself. She seemed totally unphased by what I had to say so this tyrant will probably not be trained in the proper way to approach a customer. I'm at a loss as to what to do in a situation like this. It seems nobody cares about being friendly or at least non-combative to customers. Maybe when all the brick and mortar stores close they'll finally see their mistake, although I'm not counting on it. If I ran my business that way, it wouldn't last more than a week and I'd have to shut everything down. Quit hiring psychos for management. It's not a great business...
Read moreI recently had a print job done at this local Staples store and had a great experience from start to finish. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a young man, Caleb, behind the counter who was professional, friendly, and extremely helpful. He took the time to walk me through the items I needed printed and bound, explained my options clearly, and provided a quote right away.
Even though Caleb was the only staff member working at the time and a couple of other customers walked in while I was being helped, he managed the situation with professionalism. He made sure to fully address my needs without rushing, while also acknowledging the other customers and letting them know he’d be right with them.
Overall, the service was excellent and the final product turned out exactly as I had hoped. I’ll definitely be returning for...
