Was at pool yesterday. PROS: pool- adult $6 & child $5- good pricing! Provides different size life jackets for kids who don't know how to swim! They do have restrooms for pool only-pretty clean. You can always call or look online for "open pool" schedule. CONS: No coolers!!!! please teach your pool staff the basic skills (customer service) on how to say hi or a smile to guests. The girl working at the window around 2pm when I went didn't smile and wouldn't try to hold conversation with me when asking about the no cooler policy etc. Disappointing as I usually expect more interaction from employeesI have been to the pool couple times within the past couple years and this visit was not pleasant. ALSO, there is a part on the play attraction that is "closed off" due to a really big hole in the black climbing net....their solution? Place a thin orange cone on the bottom of it as of that's supposed to stop the kids from getting on it! (Took a pic but it won't allow me to post) Did not put anything on the top part of net to stop kids from climbing down. The older kids okay but even then, if they are having fun they will walk right by it or even consider it as "a part of play attraction". They need to board that thing completely off or a lawsuit!!! **Not enough chairs, umbrellas or tables for guests to sit- ridiculous. Also, one of the life guard posts did not have a working umbrella- when the wind blew hard it totally folded leaving the guard with no shade. More than likely...

I attended the back to school event on Saturday 8-17-19. I was very disappointed to get there only 30 minutes after the event started to find that most of the vendors where not coming. There were no uniforms for the children, and to top it all off, my phone was stolen by a woman with 4 kids and her husband. I called the phone and they turned it off so that I could not get it back. Everything is in that phone. So, for someone to steal, at an event for people (mostly women) that were already struggling to provide for their children, I just feel like it was sad. I will probably never attend another event on the east, west, or south side of Fort Worth. It just really left a bad taste in my mouth. I just couldn't believe that this was supposed to be something positive for black people and it ended up being a very negative experience for someone from out of state. Overall, the facility was wonderfully built. I would recommend the facility, just none of the events that are...

I dont know who runs this brand new YMCA but if this was the only Y I had to go to Id NEVER pay for another membership. At ANY given time you can go to a scheduled class only to find it’s been canceled or the instructor just doesn't show up. WOW really!! Ive been here 15 min waiting for a scheduled class that has no instructor. Glad I ask cause they sure did not offer to post anything or inform people coming in. Ask front desk what happened? Response is “Oh she couldn’t make it”! Website says pool is open and so I drive clear across town only to find it closed. Again, website says its open. All you get from them is Im sorry or ,we didn't know and other confusing excuses. Poorly run. Zumba class was a joke. Speaking with acquaintances that seem to have similar experiences. How they got 4 to 5 stars from anyone...
