The manager by name jacklyn took my order and repeated the last of my order back to me. When I heard this I said to her i wanted two of chicken brunch burgers and 4 regular one except 1 with no mayo and she repeated back only the last part of my order. Im assuming she got the first part since i saw it on screen and finally she had not posted what she repeated so she told me the balnce and i drive forward after waiting for 4 other cars to go to window i get up there and my order is all wrong i try to give back the bags and the little boy at window argues with me that I agreed to the order while manager jacklyn stands behind him watching. She continues to watch him argue and I simply say to take it back and let makes sure it is right. She steps up and continues to argue with me and again i say i want to two chickens and 4 brunches and she says well i will just refund you two sandwiches. Now she doesnt tell me "im refunding but this will not be on card for days. She continues to tell the boy to make me those other 4 sandwhiches and she tells me that will be 17 dollars and some change. I go okay i give my card it doesnt pay for all the sandwiches. She then goes you owe 7. 63 cent. Im like okay so I know I have enough funds to make transaction but then she says well your card is zero now thats what you owe I tell her never mind i will go else where. She very matter if fact said OKAY go ahead I tell her my plan to post this on facebook yelp and other social pages she says thats fine you can go to my Facebook too. I tell her idk if this is because im black or what because i never see this happening to the primarly hispanics in her store since she is a hispanic person herself. She says no thats not it, i dont have a problem!" so at this point im like okay so she walks off with my card to go to another computer and comes back with more refund reciepts but she does refund all money. I tell her im contacting corporate and she like have a good day. I said I don't plan to return unless she is retrained or some other manager is on duty. She could not care less my suggestion is go straight to .mcDonalds or Burger king. Burger king has waaay better croissants anyway. I feel like if you work in prublic service first number one rule is dont argue and learn what makes your interaction unsatisfying and finally the worker should be familiar with the public where they work. Read moreI ordered an ultimate cheeseburger combo with curly fries and a coke, my girl ordered the loaded curly fries and tacos. The order taker got our order correct and gave us our food in a timely manner. The burger was juicy and fresh and the soda tasted great, however, the fries were stale and hard to chew. I went back inside and asked the manager if we could get them replaced, when I told her they tasted stale she gave me a very rude stare and said "no they were made fresh" to this I responded that I worked for JIB for a few years and know the difference between fresh and old fries. She was not happy and after another uncomfortable moment of her looking at me as if I'm a scammer or a liar she reluctantly took my fries and discarded them while ordering the fry cook to remake them. Needless to say I felt pretty offended by her attitude and one of her employees noticed and actually commented on it saying he was sorry and surprised that she had acted that way toward me. Since I have a background in the fast food industry I know it can be stressful at times, and there are people out there that are always looking for freebies, and because of that I decided not to make a formal complaint and just let it slide, after all she did remake the fries and they were much better this time around. The last time I was here, I waited in line for 30mins. There’s not a second line for me to leave out of, so I was stuck. The manager on duty was terrible. 30-40yo Latino. I used to work for jack In the box like 17 years ago, when I was a teenager In high school, and we took our wait times serious. No one ever waited 30+minutes. That’s ridiculous. Fast food isn’t hard, you take the order and throw it in the fryer. Why are people having to wait 30mins for fried food?! Not only that, he put my New York Style Cheesecake in the same bag as the rest of my fast food. When I got the bag, I looked at him and said “you put my cheesecake in the same bag as my fried food” and he said yeah, it’s all in there. FIRST OF ALL, NO, it’s not all supposed to be in one bag. Cheesecake is supposed to be kept cold, why would you put it in the same bag as warm food?! SECONDLY, he said “it’s all in there” and I double checked and I was missing my chicken sandwich.
