I recently went to this location for an oil change. Little did I know, I was in for quite a day.
I was greeted professionally by a team member who noted what my vehicle needed, and answered my questions. I was shown into the lobby where I waited just a short time for the work to be done. When it was finished, the young mechanic pointed out everything that had been checked under the hood and explained all the work they had done. I paid my bill and left. Very efficient.
Thatâs when things got interesting.
I made a stop for a snack after I left, and then made my way to Ft. Carson for gas. When I tried to start my vehicle, nothing happened. I tried again. An error message told me there was no key detected in the vehicle. I couldnât find my key anywhere! I called Jiffy Lube and spoke with the floor manager, explaining that someone would have to retrace my steps and look for my keys. The mechanic had left them under the hood, I hadnât noticed, and they had fallen out. The floor manager did the search himself, retracing everywhere I had driven, and showed up at Ft. Carson with them in handâŚ.but the vehicle remote had been run over on the road and was useless. Again the floor manager went well beyond good customer service and waited with me until a tow truck could take my car to the Ford dealership. Then he drove me home safe and sound.
It was at that point that the General Manager took over. He coordinated with the Ford dealer for Jiffy Lube to pay for my new remote, AND refunded to me the cost of the service they had performed on my vehicle to begin with!
Never have I had such good people taking care of me anywhere. To say this was just good customer service would be a tremendous understatement. What began as a mistake by a mechanic turned into an awesome experience. Every detail was attended to by these two managers. My husband, who was understandably upset at the mishap, has been won over by the care I was given at this Jiffy Lube location. They have won two loyal customers, and five stars is not enough. I recommend them without hesitation, with full confidence you and your vehicle will be well taken...
Read moreFirst I want to say that jiffy lube has been the only place I go to for oil changes. I have always had excellent service until this visit. I got my usual synthetic oil change. I also stated that I had a $37 coupon code. The lady brought me my air filter and said it needed to be changed. I asked her how much the air filter would cost. She said 21.99. I said thatâs okay I will pass. She said I will give it to your half off for 11.99. I said sure letâs get it done. After the service was finished, another lady went to cash me out at the register. When I go to pay for my bill, I asked to look at the pricing. She told me I have it priced out so I can just take your card. I said I would like to look at the discounts to make sure they are right. She took me inside and the coupon for 37 dollars was not added. They instead gave me a 32.50 dollar coupon. Also the air filter was not 11.99, it was originally 30 dollars. I explained to the cashier that the sales person told me she would sale it to me for 11.99 which was half what she quoted me. She said âIâm sorry I canât fix this, it must have been a miscommunication.â I also told her that my coupon is for 37 dollars not 32.50. She said âthis is what she gave youâ. I said could you please type in the coupon code I have here. She finally gave in and did it. She would not correct the price of the air filter. I ended up being pressured into paying 20 dollars for the air filter. I did not want to buy the air filter because it was more expensive. I am upset that I was lied to about my air filter. Instead of her simply asking the sales associate to correct the price she would rather blame me for the mistake costing me more money than I wanted to pay. I am happy with the oil change, not with the service that was done. You would think a long time customer would be valued. That is not...
Read moreI will never use a Jiffy Lube again. My experience with the one on Camden Blvd. In Fountain Co. Set the tone for the rest. Drove my car in at 8:30 am and had to have it towed to my home at 4 pm. I waited in their waiting area the whole time the communication was horrible to say the least. The guy that checked me in I let him know I have an appt at 10 and can you check the check engine light he's like sure we'll have you outta here maybe take an hour. I had to reschedule my appt to later in the afternoon at 3:50. Ended up having to cancel again!!! They said spark plugs I had them change them and an oil change paid $459.46. Then it was wires were old and brittle then coils. Then my car wouldn't start. I'm the one that finally had to approach the mechanic (Justin) what's going on he's like we're gonna have to have it towed to our back up garage WHAT!! I'm like no I'll have it towed home. Since they would pay for the tow to the back up garage but not to my house??? Shady and you have a contract with the tow company? Lyle the manager left for the day at 2 I thought he went to lunch. A customer came in at 3:45 to pick up a replacement part they had broke on her car was told no one knew anything that the manager just left she would have to come back tmr. I told Justin I wanted to talk to Lyle in person. Let him know where I work stop by or call and let me know when I can meet him. He calls me anyway and wants to say it's not all Justin's fault then who? He knew Justin was having difficulty and he still went home and no communication...
